The meals left a lot to be desired. We moved to where we could eat and cook what we wanted.

My Dad lived here for four years and and only recently was moved into a long-term care unit. He enjoyed his independence at the Chateau and the multicourse meals were like an event with great care taken in presentation and very tasty. I was impressed with the many available activities, a library, a TV/ puzzle/games room and an exercise room. The main activity room is large enough to host a major event like my Dad's 100th birthday party complete with a sound system and kitchenette. The management staff, particularly Catharine, Jacqueline, and Jessica, were very warm, welcoming, and always eager to help in any way they could. As a result, my Dad's party was a grand success with his family and Chateau friends. The management team is outstanding in compassion, warmth, and understanding. I highly recommend the Chateau Retirement Home, even for myself in the future.

My Dad has been a resident of The PG Chateau for 3.5 years, and our family is beyond grateful for the level of care and care-ING he has received! His needs aren't always straightforward, and he has been embraced as a valued member of the community along with being supported with kindness by the staff. They really do go to the next level. Communication with staff members has always been helpful and productive. I'm so grateful for Jessica, Catherine, Jason, and many other members of the crew who have made his stay there so special. (and also, his room is spacious and lovely, as are the shared spaces in the facility).

We recently put a deposit on a unit at PG Chateau for an elderly family member. We were very grateful that the whole team there, especially Jessica, made the process so easy and smooth. We definitely feel as though our family member will be well supported there and will be joining a wonderful community.

This is a fun place to be with lots going on for social events and activities. I like that I don't have to make my bed and the staff are very helpful- I don't have to clean or vacuum ever again!

I went in for a tour last week and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The building is big and bright and has gorgeous flower baskets lining the entry. When i was there they were hosting a happy hour with drinks and one of the staff was dancing with a resident.

I love the environment here! The staff goes above and beyond to help residents to live their best retirement lives. There's live music, amazing food, and a bright and welcoming atmosphere- pop in and check it out!

My Aunt has recently moved in. The staff are amazing. The Chateau is maintained beautifully and my Aunt loves all the meals she's had. Many activities daily for the residents. I would highly recommend.

Awesome place to live with amazing staff. My parents lived there. They have delicious healthy food, home baked treats and variety of food choices. Staff went out of their way to help us with any extra things and were supportive. Complex is kept extremely clean , outside beautifully maintained. Affordable with lots of daily activities and a shuttle for those who don't drive. I highly recommend and would live there when older.

My parents live in the Chateau. They are treated really well, served good food, and provided with a variety entertainment. This community is much better managed and seems much more caring than where they lived in Kelowna.

Well, I never even knew about this place but I entered a draw at the Jerky Factory for a free meal. I apparently won. I get a call from Elisa on a Thursday, right after a consult with my surgeon fo a half of a foot amputation. I explained to Elisa my situation. And I figured I was just going to lose out because I'm not mobile after surgery.So 1 week later, Elisa delivers me 2 meals right to my house and right to the table. What an all-star lady

I am very happy at Prince George Chateau. I feel very much at home and we’ll looked after here. It’s reassuring to know that if I need help I just have to press my button. I’m more than content here. There is nowhere I’d rather have been during this pandemic than right here. The staff are helpful, and friendly. My only complaint is the food is so good that I eat too much and I’m putting on weight.

Having a family member in there I have been going in there frequently for years now and the staff are always kind and friendly and always willing to help. Good atmosphere. I would recommend this place for someone looking for a retirement home.

Beautiful residence. All your needs are taken care of, so you can enjoy your life without having to cook, clean or do yard work. No more shoveling driveways in the winter. You dont even need a car because there is a bus that will take you anywhere you want to go (within city limits).
