We took a tour and absolutely loved it. The building is magnificent! A glorious example of 100-yr-old Art Deco, with some mid-century modern touches, as well as modern amenities that we need. Although the apartments are small, I do not see that as a problem, because I doubt I would spend much time there, due to the wonderful common areas and activities. The only drawback was the lack of parking, but with a bus stop right out back and transport provided for shopping, doctors’ appointments and errands, I doubt I will need a vehicle. This is at the very top of my list, as soon as I can complete wrapping up my current arrangements, I plan to move here.

Reasonable price I enjoy living among others who have lived a little and like me have turned a page to another chapter. I belong to a community now after having lived alone for so many years. The senior staff as well anyone who has manned the front desk have been especially accommodating. Jessica Sanchez, Jonathan Monroe, Melissa, Emily, Johanna, Karina, Victor and others have gone out their to help me and I now express my appreciation.

I truly have nothing but praise for this community. The property is impeccably maintained. Everything feels fresh, modern, and beautifully cared for. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the exceptional staff. They are consistently attentive, welcoming, and genuinely invested in the residents’ experience. Every question is met with clarity and care, and they regularly go above and beyond to ensure everyone feels supported and at ease. I would be remiss not to highlight Jonathan, whose professionalism and kindness made a lasting impression on me from the very beginning. His ability to create such a warm, welcoming environment was a decisive factor in my choice to move here. He is always accessible, responsive, and deeply attentive to residents’ needs. I have a good friend who moved PG Community about six months ago. I came to see him and to take a tour with Johnathan on Friday. Johnathan is best! Make sure he is well paid for the work he does. He greets all residents by name, is well regarded by my friend's family, who helped him make the decision to make the move P.G. Community and receive options for additional services. After my tour with Johnathan I decided to get on the list to rent an independent living 1 bedroom apartment when one becomes available. Johnathan went over all the different options with me answered all my questions. Can't say enough good about my experience.

I am a fairly new resident to Pacific Grove Sr Living. I looked at many options. I chose to live here. First, because I love the building. This environment was exactly what I wanted. Not so many people that it feels impersonal but enough so that you make good friends and feel a camaraderie with most everyone who lives here. The staff is caring, work hard to meet your needs, and are responsive to everyone’s requests. I must admit, one of the most awesome surprises has been how wonderful the meals have been. I have yet to have even a mediocre meal and that says alot about the consistent quality of our chefs. I have found that when living in a community, it is impossible to meet everyone’s expectations all the time but the nice thing I have seen at Pacific Grove Sr Living is that everyone,, both residents and Staff, work hard at being respectful and as part of a team to make things better. It is a great place to live. Interesting people, beautiful views, close to the quaint and friendly town with lots to do and see. We welcome you to come check it out. You might find it is a great for you too.

He took excellent care to make sure all details were handled with ease. I felt safe and cared for as I moved from OR to Pacific Grove. Jonathan gave us a tour of the complex and it looks beautiful. Update common areas and well designed apartments for seniors. We loved the community. Lots of happy residents, good food, lots of activities. It’s really lovely and Jonathan was super. Very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. While I was a resident for only a short time, I enjoyed living at PGSL. Jonathan (Sales Director) was outstanding in facilitating my move to the facility, and Jessica (Executive Director) was always very professional and helpful when I needed assistance with something. All of the other staff were lovely, and I will miss the friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk staff. The same is true for the other residents I met. I moved simply because I found a place that would work better for me and my dogs, but for those who have more than one pet, PGSL is an option worth exploring—especially as not many places in the area allow more than one pet. Kudos to all who are working to make PGSL a great choice for living in PG.

(GJF) I toured an in the process of remodel studio a couple of months ago and the remodel turned out great! The new ownership is making great efforts in fixing any issues that could arise in the future such as venting in the kitchen and bathroom that one reviewer mentioned. I LOVE the fact that it has a fire sprinkler system. Something I have said out loud to myself and to the staff and to my friends and family is EVERYONE HERE IS SO NICE! People in PG are extra cool already and considering the beauty and setting of PG it's easy to be more relaxed but people in this senior community and the staff especially are EXTRA nice and there are so many amenities such as rides to shopping and field trips, in-house classical concerts ect. I am relatively new so I am discovering new amenities every day and it's so close to Lovers Point Beach and the rest of the above and underwater scenery!!!! Love it so far!

My dad has been residing at PGSL since the beginning of the 2023. He moved from another local place where he was a resident for nearly 8 years. It was also very nice but had become financially unstable with 30-40% price hikes over a 2 year stent and it was sold off 3 months after he left. My dad is in his late 80's and moving someone is never easy at that age. But, PGSL was stellar during the transition. Even as they were going through an ownership change themselves. The personnel was amazing and very considerate. My dad certainly was having his difficult days during the transition making him difficult at times. But the staff was extremely patient and worked with his needs to help place him in the community where he is now very happy. If I had a hat, I would tip it to the great staff for being so delightful and supportive. Also, PGSL has been going through significant major upgrades to facilities while maintaining the service and professionalism of a well run senior living facility.
