My mother spent some time in rehab in 2025 prior to knee replacement surgery and then again in 2026 after cancer surgery and treatment. At her second stay, several staff members remembered her from her first stay, highlighting the fact that turnover is low! The nurses are top notch, as are the speech, physical, and occupational therapists. The nurse assistants are caring, and the facility services attendants were great. Everyone was wonderful to my mother, treating her, and us, like family. I highly recommend this facility.

March/April 2026. I had open heart surgery March 23 and was transferred to Nazareth Clifton Rehabilitation on March 29. I was there almost 3 weeks. It was amazing to be there as I was cared for as if I was a family member and felt safe. Everyone who works there made me feel welcome...from the ones who clean your room to the people who deliver your meals. The nurses and assistants were so careful with me and made sure I didn't have a single pain and took my medicine. One lady even came and got me one morning to go listen to a live harp recital. It was wonderful. The rehabilitation staff were determined to get me up and about and they did just that with gentle persuasion and professionalism. I never saw anyone with a scowl,,, just smiles enough to light up a room. If I ever need another facility, I pray they have room for me. This is the place I would send my Mom or Grandchildren. I felt emotional when I left as it was as if I was leaving friends and got lots of hugs on the way out. May God bless each one of them and keep them safe and healthy. Love to all. Kathy ... Room 610

My mother recently stayed at Nazareth Home Clifton in the rehab unit for several months. The staff were compassionate, patient, and attentive. I totally trusted them to take excellent care of my mom whether or not we were there. Their hard work with her really helped her and our family through a very difficult time .

I was a patient, short term, at Nazareth Clifton, in the Rehab Area, (Recovery to Home). Every aspect of my stay was positive. Nurses, Therapists, CNAs and housekeepers were all attentive to my needs. I was seen by the physician and nurse practitioner, and again any needs were met. I was transferred to Nazareth Home Clifton Campus because I had had an infected gallbladder, kidney, heart attack, heart cath, heart stent, blood clots, stroke and Covid all within 30 days. My body was very weak and I was worried I wouldn't be able to heal enough to go home. My stay with these wonderful people was a joyful experience! From physical and occupational therapists who were gentle and encouraging to the nurses and CNA's who gave me the confidence to try something more each day I relearned daily skills that I needed. I can't imagine any place nicer or more caring to stay. I'm home now thanks to them all. I miss the friends I made and if I ever require rehab I will immediately ask for Nazareth Home Clifton Campus! Thank you for the respect, caring and consideration you each gave me. ’–’–

My mom had a great experience in rehab there. So good, in fact, that she wanted to move to independent living there and it was just in her price range. She was very excited about it because our cousin who is a priest also lives there and she loves the staff she met in rehab. Unfortunately, because they're so picky about allowing pets, my mother decided not to move forward. She was afraid that if her dogs barked or something, a resident might complain or she might get in trouble. That wasn't a good feeling for her. It was so disappointing. I was finally looking forward to her being happy and not having to worry about her. It seemed like the perfect place except for that. Haven't been able to find anything in her price range since then.

After being delayed in the hospital for several days, my mother is finally where she needs to be. She is now in great hands with all that are a part of Nazareth Home Clifton. She is getting the rehab she needs that will hopefully help her to recover from her fall so that she can return to her home. The entire staff is friendly and caring, and that is helping my mother stay strong and helping her to maintain a positive attitude. I am amazed with the knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and caring staff that are helping her in her recovery and in helping to keep me from worrying. She was in another facility last year that was not good, so I am forever grateful for this entire rehabilitation experience. I thank each and everyone at Nazareth Home Clifton for all that they are doing for my mother.

My mother stayed at the Clifton location for rehab about one week. She had recently received the same type service at another provider in town with little help. After her stay with Nazareth Home, she is back at her senior living community and doing very well. Like anywhere, one must advocate for their loved ones but this staff-across the board-was happy to share with treatment goals, progress, etc. I saw the CNA’s and Nursing Assistants always trying and always knowledgeable. We had Selena and two others who were terribly wonderful. I’m sorry I don’t have the other names but if you helped my Mom in 616, I am so ever grateful. I was not sure I would see her so healthy again.

Much of the staff is very caring and nurturing but some are horrible. They left my paralyzed friend who had a deadly infection sit there for 4 hours without changing her. She went without pain meds or her reg meds for hrs also When questioned nicely about this the hed cna for her section, (i suppose she was, she didn't identify herself) for her in the evening said they were overworked, did nt have enough staff and hung up the phone. I heard 2 of them bullying her about using the call light to much There was also another witness to this When I said something on the phone they later didn't respond to her even though she reprimanded me for speaking up on her behalf I suppose they were showing her who was boss. I can understand why she did nt want to say anything when their response was neglect

Our mother moved in while she was at her end of life stage. The entire staff was warm and welcoming from the very beginning, when she moved in, and throughout her 2+ week stay, when she finally passed away. The Nazareth staff would stop whatever they were doing to tend to, not only mom's needs, but our needs as well. The nurses and CNA's would sincerely ask us how we were holding up and make sure that we felt like we were a part of the Nazareth family. If you are looking for a competent, warm and caring place for a loved one to stay, I unequivocally recommend Nazareth.

Nazareth Home Clifton was Mary Ann Ballard’s final days where she was abled to see and experience nature. Mary Ann loved to hear the birds in the outside garden and enjoyed being wheeled around the outside. Staff quickly learned to see the beautiful spirit that Mary Ann radiated to everyone there. They knew she was special for her smile was always there. I do say there were hard times for us both after being separated after living 48 years together mostly serving others and active in social justice issues. Mary Ann was a healer and a blessing giver which she shared there at the home. Lucky am I for having Mary Ann at Clifton. I am so very grateful for being there daily to visit Mary Ann from March To September 3. Staff knew me well and met our needs with love Laughter and peace. You deserve every award you have for the service that you render to us all. Thank you grateful am I to every one of you. I would add one other comment the house cleaning staff touch me deeply in ways that gave me courage and had such a caring attitude toward me and to their patience. I love everyone of them. I get to visit the Nazareth Home residents in Clifton on a regular basis. The community is well staffed and the folks are well cared for and offered lots of activities in which to participate. Definitely feels like a home with lots of love

Every tertiary care rehab has the same list of issues common to the industry. Staffing issues, long wait for nurse responses, and lack of communication are not unique to this facility. That being said, it's okay. It is clean. Food is institutional, but a limited choice menu is given. The presence of upper level clinical staff was scarce. All employees are well meaning, but with limited resources. The physical rehabilitation was not assertive for years of experience.

Father in law stayed here. Jeanine in admissions made it a smooth transition from hospital stay. Staff is very friendly and facility is so clean. He had a private room and rehab helped get him back on his feet. We were very pleased and our minds eased.

Employees here are very caring. They take the time to try and understand my mom, who has expressive aphasia. The few times there have been an issue it is resolved in a respectful manner. When the employees are cheerful and say hi to my mom her face lights up and that’s not something people do because of their pay, it’s something they do because they care. The garden is peaceful and beautiful and there are places nearby to visit without having to drive. There are many activities for the residents, including concerts and singing. Even during the pandemic the employees are working hard to care for residents and try to keep them happy during this hard time of isolation.
