I would like to commend Excellacare Skilled Services "Physical Therapist" (Jigar S.) for his superb knowledge, professional technical skills, compassion, and encouraging positive attitude. Jigar utilized different physical therapy treatments that produced real results. He had the ability to motivate me even when the pain and stiffness was at its worse. I want to express my gratitude to him for his patience, encouragement and expertise. Jigar is truly talented, and he truly cares about the welfare of his patients! I have been aware of Excellacare for many years because I knew their field rep over the years. They have the tough job of caring for mostly Medicaid recipients who receive benefits from the government, are often very demanding and unforgiving. I recently went to work for the company at the Roseville office and what I can tell you is this. The caregivers give everything they have when they go out to care for families . They are mistreated, called names, complained about , and then after the company has exhausted all of the caregivers in the area the families complain about service. So you see it's EASY TO COMPLAIN. IT IS TRUE that the owner paid $25 per employee to get positive Google reviews. Vanessa Metti is not an HR person she is the owner of the company. She is the person who replies to these posts. I have not lowered my rating because my wife still works for this company. As far as former employees coming on here to complain, that shows a lack of class, and poor judgement . Who would rehire someone who goes online and trashes their former company. I have found the Home Healthcare business to be very complicated and tough because of the way client hours are chopped up , the fact that employees are W2 employees bit allowed to act like 1099 independent contractors .And that's not just Excellacare. In closing I read negative comments about office staff and I can tell you that the office staff at Excellacare treats everyone with dignity and respect. I Would not have worked with them if it were not true.
