I am a healthy 76 year old woman. I needed a cyst removed from my brain, but I didn't think I needed at home care. I'm fiercely independent and didn't want people in the house. What would I do with them? I was wrong . To please my daughter I interviewed a couple agencies. I was so impressed with Brendan Riordan and Cornerstone Caregiving that I chose to have an open mind. I warned Brendan my daughter might take over and she did. He worked very well between us. Cornerstone was very flexible with my needs and changing schedules. I was in and out of the hospital a couple times which messed with the schedule. Never an issue. I found all the caregivers capable, respectful and compassionate. They never hovered but were close when it was needed. I was able to do many things on my own but I did have restrictions and the caregivers knew when to step in. Their presence allowed my husband to continue his out of house routines and he knew I was in safe hands. Although there were different caregivers, they each knew what to do. They were helpful and they allowed me the dignity to do what I could. I highly recommend Cornerstone Caregivers in Fitchburg.
