When my 100-year old father became bed-bound in his Assisted Living facility in September 2023, I sought out a service to care for him at night. Caring Mountain provided three wonderful, experienced and caring professionals that provided care for dad from 8pm to 8am seven days a week. Birgitta, Linda and Victoria all provided consistent, all encompassing care for dad while keeping me informed of his status and any concerns. It was a tremendous relief to me to have someone trusted and equipped to handle his needs each night, allowing me some rest and recuperation from my daily caregiving. My Mom is a client of Care Mountain. She lives alone in the Highland Park area. She has vascular Dementia which has progressed over the years. Care Mountain is providing 24 hour in home care for Mom at her home and couldn't be happier. I feel blessed to be able to keep Mom in her home thanks to caregivers like Jessica. She has this company for a while now. Over time Mom's care needs for support have increased, and Care Mountain has helped us work through the best approach so mom could stay home. I know it takes so much more patience to work with mom and all the ladies from Care Mountain continue to be kind and lovely. I am so grateful for Care Mountain's high standards and would recommend them for reliable, top quality in home care.

Care Mountain helps us with caregivers for my parents who live in the Preston Hollow village area. We really appreciate you and the wonderful care your caregivers provide to my parents! Our morning and evening caregivers are both wonderful people. It did take us a few rounds to get the right caregivers in the beginning but the current caregivers have been with us for a couple of years now. Good thing is that your team is very open to feedback and you guys worked with us till we got the caregivers we liked. They both are patient, diligent and so compassionate in how they take care of Mom and Dad's every need. We haven't called the office much after the initial onboarding but your office team is quick to respond if we need support to increase or reduce hours. We would highly recommend you to families looking to provide a stable and reliable care service.

Care Mountain has been an incredible resource as I have been navigating the care needed for my mother. They were responsive, thorough, kind, informative and comprehensive in the services that they were able to provide. We needed to move very quickly to find in-home care for my mother as I live out of state and she was being released from skilled nursing. Gagan at Care Mountain not only quickly identified care givers for 24/7 live in care, but also was very helpful in organizing PT/OT. It was seamless. Additionally, the team has been very good at communication. Despite being far away, there is definitely a level of relief knowing how her care has gone on a daily basis.

I'm really thankful that we decided to go with Care Mountain. When my grandmother started needing a caregiver, it was a scary process. We didn't know how to evaluate what she needed or how to go about finding the right person. We were referred to Care Mountain by a friend of my grandmother's. Gagan came out personally to chat with her and evaluate her needs. We met with several caregivers before finding the right fit, and eventually landed on Andrea. Andrea was great and was there with my grandmother the day she passed. She stayed with me in the hospital and has checked in to see how my family and I are doing through the grieving process. I know she cared greatly for my grandmother, and it means a lot that she was there with her until the end. I absolutely recommend Care Mountain to somebody looking for someone trustworthy to care for their loved one.

After having worked with other caregivers in DFW and being continually disappointed I came across Care Mountain. Care Mountain came to my house for a very informative and eye opening interview. After the interview I knew they would be my choice for a caregiver. The owner of the company supplied me with interviewees but I knew Linda was the right fit as soon as we started speaking. Linda has been such an amazing fit for us and my mom just loves her. Linda keeps my mom as active and as well cared for as anyone could. I cannot say enough about the care that both Care Mountain and Linda have provided and I truly believe this partnership has given my mother a much higher quality of life and undoubtedly extended the time I have with her.

MARY has been my father's primary caregiver for more than one year, working 24 hours Monday - Friday. She is very thorough and attentive with his care. Mary has an established routine, which includes taking my father to the Senior Center one or two times per week, sometimes more often depending on the Center's scheduled activities. In addition to caring for him, she keeps everything neat and clean, which is how my mother kept their home, too. Although I visit my father every day and have our routine that is incorporated with Mary's, it is an enormous relief to know that my father is in trusted hands at all times. My siblings, who do not live in Dallas, would agree. TAMARA is my father's weekend caregiver and I can say the same things about her that I did about Mary. She and Mary have a compatible rapport and work well as a team, which I learned when there are multiple caregivers are especially important. They timely communicate with each other, and me, any behavioral changes and/or changes in my father's routine or care. This allows my father to get consistent, uninterrupted care when they change shifts. Gagan and Deepti stay informed on my father's care, indicating there is regular communication between them and their caregivers as well.

I alternate with Care Mountain and another caregiving service. Care Mountain is the third caregiving service I have used with my 95 year old mother with dementia. So far, the difference in care and professionalism is evident. Sierra and Stacy are consistently on time. The are caring and communicate with mom and with me in a kind and articulate manner. They are both quite capable and obviously experienced and full of compassion. I am considering switching over full time to CareMountain!

Dealing with an aging parent is very hard and it's challenging to navigate how to honor a parent's wishes with keeping them safe and secure and well cared for in their home. We chose Care Mountain because of a great recommendation from my in laws. Care Mountain is very detailed and works to find the best caregiver for your situation. Teresa Hernandez is amazing with my mom. She came right in and made my mom feel safe and comfortable. My mom was very hesitant about having a person in her home, but Teresa was able to make my mom feel comfortable. Her house has never looked so good! Teresa organized everything and put things away to make it easier for my mom to find stuff. We are really looking forward to having Teresa as my mom's main caregiver. My mom said Teresa made her feel like she could do more herself than she has in a long time. Thank you for your positive aura! UPDATED REVIEW: It's taken me a bit to get back to writing an update to my review. We used Care Mountain for a short period of time and then decided to move my mom to a different option. I have to say that I was very disappointed with Deanna (the care coordinators) response and call back time. We had an issue with a care giver cancelling at the last minute and never showing up. Fortunately, my sister lived relatively close and handled it. It could have been a bad situation as no one from Care Mountain bothered to call and let our family know that a caregiver would not be showing up to help my mom for the nights. What if no family member was in town? Hate to think what my family would have done. When I brought this up - Deanna claimed she reached out. No she didn't. Please improve your response time and call backs. I'm leaving 2 stars overall due to the potential problems not acknowledging clients can cause. I do stand behind my review of Theresa-that doesn't change. She helped us in a challenging time.

Thank you for providing Hannah to help me after my long hospital stay. She was always willing to do anything I asked of her. She prepared my meals, reminded me of my medicines, kept the house neat, did my laundry and a lot of other things that made my life easier. If I ever need someone, I definitely will ask for her.

When my father-in-law was discharged from the hospital after a 3 month stay to his home with my elderly mother-in-law as his primary caregiver, we knew they would need help making this adjustment. They disagreed and it was a bit of battle getting them to agree to having some assistance in their home. Once we started with Care Mountain, however, their resistance quickly faded away. The owner of the company, Gagan, came and met personally with me and my in-laws and patiently addressed all of their questions and concerns. They sent us the most wonderful caregiver, Tetteh, who I am convinced is an angel on this earth. Tetteh went to great lengths to accommodate their schedule and was willing to come early, stay late, or even work on her off days when my father-in-law's condition worsened and mom needed more help. When my father-in-law died, Tetteh and Gagan both reached out multiple times to check on our family and share our grief. I don't know what we would have done without them and am so very grateful we had them as a part of our team as we went through this journey.
