With my own experience of this place... I started in January of 2022... I've been working in this particular field for 7yrs and in all my years of experience I have never came across such a unprofessional work environment! From day 1 I was deceived and told they would match my previous pay rate and only after hire they informed me that I would be making $3 less on the hour and promised me 40hrs + to match my or come close to my previous 60hrs a week... they lied. They started a contract with Camden Clark Medical Center in November 2022 and offered to pay me $18 an hour. I've been working at the hospital ever since with 40hrs+... everything was going great. Then they got a new DON after old one quit out of the blue. The new DON for the company was extremely unprofessional and threatened me because I couldn't take up extra hours on my day off because I didn't have a sitter for my kid. In the handbook it simply states that overtime will not exceed 36-40hrs a week and they were giving 50hrs of overtime to an employee but refusing to do the same for any of the other employees. I went from working 5 days at the hospital to 3 days at the hospital while one employee worked 2-3 days and another worked 4 days a week and the employee working 50hrs+ was working 10 days in a row and they had no more training or experience then the others . We asked them several times to give us back our hours and they kept coming up with lies and excuses and denying that our fellow coworker worked that much when it was written on a sign in sheet showing how much they worked... then the DON threatened employees in a group text message saying she would fire us if we continued to discuss our pay with hospital staff or patients when the pay rate is listed on 3 different sites including Indeed. One of the employees pointed that out and the DON did not apologize to any of us... also a client damaged my vehicle and the company refused to reimburse me for the damage and the client making it impossible for me to use my vehicle to transport clients. The hand book specifically says the company is responsible for damages. New employees quit after a week of being with the company and the boss locks himself in his office and plays games on his phone all day. HR was anonymously contacted one day and informed of the company's wrongdoings and poor treatment of staff. Anonymous was informed by HR that they had no idea the company had even signed a contract with the hospital nor were they allowed... They have a no retaliation policy so anonymous was not fired for reporting this information to HR about this particular franchise. I've recently just quit with the company after discovering this and being threatened again and also discovering that 3 franchise companies in a single state are being sued. The DON said, "I can see what kind of employee you are and with any luck, our paths will never cross again" then they hung up on me when informing them I quit.
