The initial visit was excellent. Customer service is great; however, the CNA's that came to my mother's home lacked professionalism. They did just enough to satisfy their day. I'm not sure if it's because the longer some are in this profession the less they want to do. They were nice but they lacked that extra motivation to really be helpful and thorough. Thorough is not simply leaving the soiled sheets on the floor, but putting them in the washer and not wanting to eat shortly after arriving. I think they could use continued training on their responsibilities. They appear so relaxed as a sitter or friendly companion would be. The price is too high for someone to sit and do their homework. Also, before you sign up with this company, check for hidden fees. We noticed if someone is coming to our home at 4:00 pm and signs their timesheet with the company at 3:50 pm you have to pay for those extra ten minutes. For example, if your CNA is scheduled at the agreed upon time of 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm and they arrive at 3:50 pm make sure they leave your home at 8:50 pm. Those extra minutes add up quickly if they stay later or arrive earlier I would not recommend this company. Might be good to search around a bit more. If you need a sitter or companion, there are companies that offer these services only for far less money.

The team at American In-Home Care has been amazing in not only providing support but encouragement as we care for our aging parents. This organization has provided a high level of care that addresses not only the needs of our parents but providing guidance for us as caregivers. We truly appreciate the work of the entire organization especially Shaletha when it comes to scheduling and providing the best care possible. My overall experience has been positive and we appreciate everything.

Jason spent quality time with our friend and us resulting in her using your group to help her with light cleaning, companionship, errands etc. Our friend wasn't totally into understanding the need for a service like this but after the first visit she was so elated and happy with her care person renee! She can't wait until renee comes back especially for the company and conversation. This was such a relief for us since our friend had no family to rely on.
