My dad had an accident in early 2021 that has greatly affected his health and his ability to safely live alone. I helped him move here around Thanksgiving of 2021 from another nursing home where he was not getting the care he needed. I live out of state, and it's very important to me to know that my dad is being taken care of. It's only been about 3 months, but so far my experience with Eureka Nursing has been fantastic. They call me anytime there is any change in ANY of his care, from medications, doctor's appointments, etc. When we first arrived all of the staff got busy making us at home. Everyone is very kind and always smiling, and the atmosphere is very clean and pleasant. His new doctor is also awesome and got right on the problems he was having that weren't being addressed at the last place. I always said that I would NEVER put my parents in a nursing home, but sometimes life has other plans. I would never be able to give him the care he needs by myself. But with him here, I don't have to worry about my dad's health, safety, or if he is getting the proper care he needs. I am able to be informed and involved with his care. I really cannot say enough about this place. If you are looking for a place for your loved one please consider Eureka Nursing first. These folks really care. Oh yeah - they have GOOD FOOD too!!! My dad's favorite thing is the ice cream after lunch and dinner lol. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would!!

I've been involved in overseeing my mother's long term care for several years as she suffered from severe Dementia/Alzheimer's disease.I made the decision to relocate her to the Eureka Nursing Center in 2015. My decision was primarily based on conversations with the administration / nursing staff, the high rating of the facility and also word of mouth from people in the area. Even with this input, it was a tough not to mention, risky decision as I live many miles from the facility. As it turns out, I couldn't have made a better decision. In my opinion, the nursing staff at the Eureka Nursing Center is top notch. Not only did they provide excellent care for my mom but they were willing to accept my calls (literally each and every day) to get a status on mom's condition. This included all the nurses and the aides who always had a well thought out and detailed status for me without exception. I can't begin to articulate how important this was to me. I also spoke directly to the Medical Director / Doctor and again was most satisfied with his attention to my mom's well being. During my onsite visits, I found the facility to be clean and the employees cheery, professional and more than helpful. They also watched after me during the time of my mom's passing in 2016. Finally last but not least, I want to call out how very much I appreciated the care and attention both my mom and I received from Administrator, Sarah Waddle. I watched Sarah interact with my mom when she didn't know I was watching and she was wonderful with my mom. Sarah also assisted me with all the processes, procedures and questions along the way and this was so much appreciated. From the first day, I always felt like mom was in good hands. At the end of day, I know she was.
