I have to say I would very much recommend this facility. The staff all are respectful and polite. The therapist are great. They will push you when needed but are very much aware of how you are coping with the necessary exercises etc. 99% of the CNA's are wonderful! Most helpful in all ways. My only REAL complaint is the food being served! I realize it's hard to please everyone with all the diet needs; however, it is not good. All else is just fine.

In 3 shortweeks I went from barely able to walk without horrible pain to walking with hardly any pain thanks to the physical thearpy crew, and the encouragment of the nurses, cna's and all the staff at Tampico. I highly reccomend Tampico Terrace for anyone needing a snf either short term or long term care.

I have been here for 10 months, and can positively say it's been a wonderful experience. The entire staff is excellent. The food is good, they accommodate my individual requests.

4 & half stars. Been here for about a year and that I can say is that everything else besides the food is excellent. They try to accommodate everyone as much as possible. Love the events and activities that they do for the residents. Very much enjoy the outings and movie nights. Also love the fact that they have the "Happy Hour" once a week. Nurses are great, they make sure that you get all your medicines and all questions about them are answered. Very accommodating and kind.

1. I was treated with empathy and compassion by knowledgeable and attentive nurses and doctors. 2. I was carefully treated by friendly cnas with patient, kindness and respect.3. Friendly and responsible stuff work diligently to adjust to the changes needed for my recovery (INFECTION). 4. A variety of therapist were responsible for keeping me motivated, and thinking positive to the changes and improvements of my care. 5 i received a delicious variety of meals although and alternative menu was available. I'm a 59 years old male who just underwent i just received a complete hip replacement the surgical side became infected a scheduled 2 days in the hospital became on five week recovery at tampico i arrived tampico with terrible pain and very concerned for the long term effects of the healing of my hip they change the painful situation into a comfortable even pleasant recovery I'm forever gratefull to Tampico for form and gentle care that I receive I'll highly recommended to everyone. My opinion is that they really do care from the one who cleanes the floor until the nurses and stuff, caring and sharing to me it's all about, they're really do care in gonna miss my stay here and I'll come back all the time. Therapy is excellent thank you Tampic

Whereas 've not been in a convulsant home before and had my doubts, I was very happy with the great care I received. For the most part your staff was very kind and attentive and handled a lot of stress with aplomb. I came here having had a heart attack and left 2 weeks later feeling great. Again, the care was great but people that cared for me made it a good experience. However, I'll look forward to greater food. Thanks again, Stev

My stay has been good overall, a couple disruptions every now and then but nothing out of the ordinary. Nurses and CNA are very helpful and caring. Sometimes it may take a couple of minutes for a response but all is understood because they have other patients to help. Tampico is definitely recommendable to those in need.

Hi Everyone! I understand that every place of work has its ups and downs. So far, this is one of the best facilities that I've worked for as a CNA. They do not short change the employee on their paychecks, and appreciate their personnel. In comparison to Generations SNF, where I recently resigned from because of the lack of transparency from the Generations' SNF management , I have to say Tampico Healthcare gets 5 stars. Don't go to Generations. Merle Fontanos and Liza Ray are the DSDs, they are not that nice.

The staff are wonderful.. they get 5 stars! The aids who help with personal hygiene, and the nurses have all been exceptionally kind and committed. My mother has been very grateful there while she is recovering from a bad fall that left her spinal cord fractured and immobile. I witnessed quick responses, less than a minute after my mom presses a button . The negative is that they do not have enough management staff and they seem overtaxed. The patients are sometimes moved without explanation of why to another room. We were happy to have my mom access Netflix to see Korean Drama and not be bored to death lying there awake for hours but after being moved to another room, she has no more access. She has 2 more weeks approximately to rehabilitate there and I'm hoping that someone may get back to me but not holding my breath. They are super busy with a LOT of patients to care for. The staff are incredibly professional and kind especially when they have so many patients to care for. Another negative is that the public restrooms have malfunctioning sensors on the water faucets so it's hard to rinse your hands of soap. I spent 5 minutes trying to get the sensor to work and when it occasionally does work, it dispenses water for a fraction of a second. Very unhygienic. The staff also use those restrooms and I would imagine that some people do not even bother with it being so difficult to get water out. I've reported it weeks ago but no change. I've also reported the lack of airflow in the rooms..e.g. the HVAC system is either not working well or not at all.. no change after 4 weeks. The food is decent and mom who is picky says it's fine. It is hard to provide tasty and well prepared food for so many people.. I couldn't do it! Most patients are put in triplet rooms with curtains drawn between each bed.. there is sparse room and each room seem to have a glass sliding door that can be cracked open, which is nice to get fresh air since I do not sense that the HVAC system is ever on in the late afternoons when I am there. I don't know why some patients are in the few singles and doubles, and most are in the triplets. Overall, I would consider this facility again since it's the closest to my elderly parents in late 80's and early 90's.. and the care by staff can't get much better. My mom says that the way some of the aids have helped bathe her and cleaned her was so gentle and thorough.. she is so grateful to them. I am too... they are amazingly beautiful human beings caring for the elderly and others who are suffering.

My husband and I were very impressed with the care my mother-in-law received at their care facility. The staff kept us very informed, were kind and attentive, and the facility was always clean. A special shout out to one of the staff Susanna, who was so patient and truly forms a connection with the patients in her care. Angelica, and Marjorie in the administrative office, Genesis the social worker, and the nursing staff were extremely informative and helpful to us. We appreciate the quality care our mom received.
