Active Day of Homewood has truly been a blessing to our family. My mother has been enrolled there for approx. nine months and loves it. From the first day she arrived there until now she has been surrounded by compassionate, loving and professional staff members that truly care about the program participants and it shows as soon as you walk in the door. My mom originally was scheduled 1/2 days, 3 times a week. After 8 weeks she started attending 4 days a week and beginning tomorrow she will be attending 5 days per week because I know that she's well cared for by every staff member and she loves being there. Kudos to Ms. Latacia and her staff! They have truly been a bright light in our life.

The staff here are friendly, professionals, and actually care for the elderly an having patience with them. The environment itself is bright as there name is.

Great care for seniors and the family. The nursing staff is fantastic! When my father in law came to live with us, he had 24 medications that required administering at varying times of day. The nurse sorted all the dosages for me, and provided weekend prescriptions for morning, noontime, and evening dosages. They were pivotal in his mental and emotional acuity; my family's quality of life improved. Overall, I really liked this establishment: the facility was always clean, it never smelled like "old folks home" and the staff treats their residents well. They also had shuttle service to/from home. I'm glad we chose this facility.

I can not say enough good things about Active Day of Homewood!! Staff is VERY caring from administration to bus drivers. Nursing staff is AMAZING!! I ABSOLUTELY TRUST THEM WITH MY LOVED ONE!! (He is blind with short term memory loss) Always clean when I have to stop in for a visit. You are always greeted with a smile, they have activities daily for the seniors. My LO appreciates them because he feels as though it helps with his memory and to stay active. They offer catered lunch and different breakfasts daily. They made it easy for me to return to work after my LO needed 24hr care. They are even nice enough to give you resources if you need additional help. Being a caregiver can be stressful but for atleast 10 hours a day I do not have to worry about his care.

I simply don't know how I would maneuver if Active Daycare wasn't in business. They take great care of my Mom on a weekly basis. The have very reasonable pricing. They truly engage with the clients and have many outings available for them as well. I thank you for providing these type of services for us working class families.
