Reviews The Bridge Adult Day Program – Catholic Community
August 2025
My personal connection with the Bridge Program is that I am a caregiver for my wife of 55 years who has been suffering from dementia during the past 3 years and requires daytime support with supervision so that I may attend my daytime job with the State of Alaska. The Bridge Program provides an outstanding service for those seniors affected by dementia and other cognitive problems, having staff that are very professional, kind, courteous and understanding. The current Day Care Program has been a lifesaver where my wife can interact socially in supervised activities with seniors like herself and with professional caregivers as well as receive a nutritious lunch. She looks forward to attending the program every weekday and the service has been well worth the reasonable cost. The Bridge - Catholic Adult Day Care Program is extremely important to us in managing my wife’s cognitive decline as well as for other client families in Juneau empowering caregivers to balance work, make personal commitments, or take a well-earned rest, knowing their family member is receiving top-notch care. This local service is crucial since there is no other budget-conscious alternative in Juneau that provides such a protected, nurturing environment with socialization at such a reasonable cost.
