I lived at Twin Pines for three years, and overall, I have many positive memories of my time there. What I appreciated most was feeling safe. Package theft was never an issue, parking was always available, and the location is excellent, close to shopping, restaurants, and everyday conveniences. The building also has an elevator and laundry rooms on every floor, which made daily life much easier. Most residents were friendly, and I generally enjoyed living there. I would also like to recognize Demaree, the property manager. During a very difficult time when I needed emergency surgery, she showed kindness and understanding by extending my stay when I needed additional time. I will always be grateful for her support. However, no place is perfect. One of the main reasons I chose Twin Pines was because it was advertised as a non-smoking community. I am allergic to both cigarette and marijuana smoke, and unfortunately I frequently smelled both in the hallways and common areas. Management did make efforts to address the issue, but it never completely went away. I also had an ongoing problem with the heater in my apartment. It consistently overheated the unit during the winter, forcing me to open windows to make the temperature bearable. I reported the issue three separate times, but it was never fully resolved. The increasing rent also contributed to my decision to leave. The issue that affected me the most, however, was how late-rent notices were handled. During a temporary financial hardship, I paid my rent late for a few months. I always paid what I owed and never left an unpaid balance, but receiving three-day notices posted directly on my door caused significant stress and anxiety. While I understand that legal procedures must be followed, I wish those communications could have been handled in a more private and discreet way. Despite these concerns, I remain grateful for my time at Twin Pines. It was my home for three years, and I have many good memories there. The positives ultimately outweigh the negatives, and I wish the community and its staff the very best moving forward.

I have been here for almost a year. The building is secure and very clean. Maintenance is quick to respond, even at 2:30 am when there is a leak upstairs into your kitchen. Living in a secure building is great, you don't have to worry about random people knocking at your door. The building is very quiet. I don't hear my upstairs neighbor at all. The tenants are very nice and friendsli. This is a great place to live.

Moved here 2.5 years ago for work. Had to apply overseas and the process was smooth, Demaree was very accommodating and only ask few documents to get accepted. Demaree, Christine and the maintenance crew were always prompt in questions and updates. The apartment has a very convenient location and access to all highways. Great place to stay around this area!

PROS: Management and maintenance team are very professional and nice. Apartments are very nice, spacious with brand new stainless steel appliances ( stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher). NO SMOKING ON PROPERTY It’s a great location just four traffic light away from Kenwood Town Center/Mall CONS; 100% of communication is through emails. It’s not easy to have a verbal conversation with management once you’ve moved in. Although it’s advertised as Non Smoking, some tenants smoke. You could sometimes smell Tobacco and weed in the hallways. It’s frequent loud music (noise) from a particular neighbor at weird hours on regular weekdays. The noise has disrupted my sleep and has significantly impacted my living experience in the complex.

I like living at Twin Pines. I’ve been there for almost a year and a half. I love the location and being able to walk to nearby restaurants is great! I love going to Delhi Palace and The Dipper. I have a one bedroom apartment. Some of the things I really like about the apartment is that the building is very quiet, I’m on the second floor and I can’t hear my neighbors foot steps or the cars on the street. I have great lighting for my indoor plants and balcony garden in the summer. Maintenance is good, if I put in a request it gets completed in a timely manner. The things I dislike about the apartment is that the kitchen is small and the cabinets and microwave are high up so I need a step stool to get to most of them. The flooring has small holes in it even though it was fixed before I moved in. I also don’t like how expensive laundry is. It’s $3.75 a load which adds up quickly.

I moved into Twin Pines in April after relocating from downtown Cincinnati area. And it’s in a perfect location close to 71 to head right downtown Cincinnati 15 minutes and Kenwood Mall only 5 minutes. They are also pet friendly and the pricing for a 2 bedroom room unit plus a balcony is very reasonable. My leasing process was very easy going thanks to Demaree. The maintenance is also very quick and responsive. It’s also a very quiet complex. And the parking lot is huge with free parking for you and your guest. Definitely will be renewing my lease in April of 2024.

Twin Pines' one bedrooms are reasonably priced for their 600 ft size, monthly utility bills, quick maintenance response, and amenities in the area (Silverton Kenwood Deer Park). I have lived here for over 5 years. I did not have the best rental history. But they were willing to work with me. Thanks to them, I can move into luxury apartments with monthly rent over 1500 per month for one bedrooms. Like I'm going to do something like that. I might as well move into a house if I can pay that much.lol

Starting my 5th year soon. This is as big building that is very quiet. Taking a mid-day nap is easy. The parking lot is a single entrance so there is no cruise thru at night. All the exterior entrance doors key lock with a code box at the center minimizing building access. So yes, I live in a big quiet box that's hard to get into and I like it.

For the price, this apartment was perfect for living a short duration. I will say it seems like the tenants are getting younger and younger and at some point a new tenant moved in who played extremely loud music at all hours of the night that would be felt through the building. Also the heating in the apartment didnt seem to work when you needed it and worked when you didnt want it to. This created a sort of dangreous situation around Christmas time during the cold freeze. During this time i found out that the wind literally came through the bottom of the wall that looked out to the balcony. Overall, although there were times when it was uncomfortable, for the price and the management seeming to want to put a lot into improvements, I would recommend living here for a short while.

I moved in almost 5 years ago and have gone through 3 property managers. I can honestly say that before Towne Properties took it over , I was ready to move. The place was very out dated, and getting a hold of management was next to impossible. my biggest annoyance was the constant fliers on my door every time there was an issue that had nothing to do with me. when I reported problems like the fronts to my drawers in the kitchen came off less then 4 months after moving in and maintenance came to fix it but 1 month later it came off again and now both drawers are unusable. On 2 separate occasions I had a whole in my ceiling in the bathroom because of a leak in the apartment under me. Since Towne properties came in I am proud to have people come see me at the apartment. Even though the building is old with all the upgrades it is very nice. The management is awesome and get back to you the same day. I would recommend this place now to any one looking for a starter apartment.
