Horrible place once Pennae was "forced to retire". Shame on you [name removed] for doing what you did after she gave you 25 years of dedicated service. [name removed] and [name removed] could have cared less about the residents. Residents were treated in a disrespectful manner. All they cared about was the numbers and how to cut operational costs at the expense of the residents. [name removed] even had a rope to keep people from getting too far into the office. They would close the blinds and hide from residents. You had to buy your own air conditioner at this place! Your packages that get delivered are thrown in a closet as the office does not want to deal with residents coming in to get their packages. The beauty shop was closed and never re-opened. The place is old and dirty. Urine stained furniture in the common areas, I NEVER once saw them have the carpets cleaned on floors 2-8. No assigned parking. The apartments are old and dated and the appliances are terrible! You ask for anything new and the answer is "No" The stairwells are filthy with broken tiles for you to trip on. Smoking was allowed and the hallways smelled terrible. Many incontinent residents so you had that issue too. I left in 2020 right before the pandemic lock down. I was so thankful I didn't have to deal with this place and all of it's "pandemic rules and regulations" I am thankful for the friendships I made while living at OPT, all of my friends have since left OPT. I hear things have changed since the days of [name removed] and [name removed] and hopefully it has. Maybe it is a great place now, but my stay was nothing less than horrible.

Kudos to Stacey, Alyssa & Johnny & Tuane, our maintenance staff at Oxford Park Towers, when our power went out they went way & beyond the call of duty to make sure the residents were comfortable, they wouldn't leave until the power was restored! If you searched all of Michigan you won't find a better working team!

I moved into Oxford Park Towers late 2022. I have to say it was a wonderful move in experience. The location is awesome with easy access to so many stores. Parking is convenient and so far I have always had a place to park. Maintenance and the front office staff are the stars here. The maintenance guys live here so everything is taken care of quickly. The front office staff are so helpful. There is an exercise room, library, common areas and entertainment room. They host movie nights and have many social gatherings. Laundry on ever floor. I must mention that it is very affordable and besides my rent I only pay for internet. It is a secure building and I always feel very safe both inside and outside. They are small pet friendly also. Lastly I want to mention the residents. Everyone is so friendly and nice. This really is a place for us 55+ folks to call home.

Customer service a huge issue here. I lived here some 5 years. They've had problems with customer service until the new woman, Kathey came on staff. She's so kind and courteous. Everyone loves her. And the maintenance crew is awesome. I miss Johnny and Tuan. A lot of good people live there. I would have given them 4 or 5 stars if the office staff always had a Kathey there.... but you can never tell with the turnover in office staff. Great place to live with a good staff and maintenance crew. They are very courteous and pleasing to everyone. Holiday parties are great along with the Birthday parties. We have a good therapy room and a movie room , library , dinning room and the common room is nice for when friends come to visit.

As a five year resident of Oxford Park Towers I can truly say that I am happy with my home here in Berkley. I love the small size as it makes it so much easier to clean. There is a laundry room, storage are and trash chute on each floor. And I love my balcony that gives me the most gorgeous sunsets! If any problem ever arises, the staff respond right away. Even if it may take time to repair something, an immediate response makes you feel heard. Now that the pandemic is over, activities have resumed and I'm going to Bingo tonight in our recreation area. There are exercise and yoga classes (free to all), and weekly movies for free in a luxurious media room with huge recliners (popcorn provided). You can be as social or as single as you wish. All in all, it's a good life.

Since I am moving back to Michigan I was doing a full court press looking for a place. My focus turned toward Oxford for two major reasons. 1) Good reviews and 2) front office personnel, especially Alyssa. Frankly, she was so kind and helpful which took me by surprise because everywhere else I called had gotten a so-so, can't be bothered response. Frankly, every time I spoke to her she was so up beat and friendly, and most certainly helpful. If the apartment is half as good as the service, I am going to love this place. 10 plus stars.

i've been a resident for over four years and I am quite satisfied. The apartments are very quiet, residents are friendly as is the office and maintenance staff. The building is clean and well-maintained in a timely manner. A well stocked library as well as daily activities is appreciated
