I live at Sherman house it is very clean and free of rodents and no bedbugs. Very friendly residents and staff. Only 5 miles from downtown, very centrally located to shopping and entertainment.

Post regarding Sherman House, that says there is an active residents association is false. There is NO residents association and NO standing committees.

I cannot believe all the vitriol and hatred that is being directed toward Donna Bailey who has been the Manager at the Sherman House for the past 19 years. I brought my mother from South Africa and she stayed there for 3 years which she said was the happiest time she has experienced. Donna has gone over and beyond what her " duties" were. My whole family, children and grandchildren sponsored over the past 8 years the Celebration of Chanukah in an evening filled with joy, happiness and wonderful food which Donna arranged. Donna's critics should be ashamed of themselves.

I have known Donna Bailey for 20 years and have helped her with events at the Sherman House. I have known her to always go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that every resident has everything they need. I am confident that my parents would be very happy to live at any facility that she managed.
