Well The first impression when I first got my 91yrs old dad there for rehab wasn’t that great. Because it look a little outdated but after I Met he nursing staff and and all the workers there, I Have nothing but respect and thankful for how great they are. So nice It’s so professional in every way. So I highly recommend this place to anyone. Because I’m picky and if they can win my heart over, they can win anyone I surely mean that Sincerely, thank you Johnny lam™°™ my dad are lucky to Have such great Staff taking care of him.

My parents were placed in Wallingford both after a hospitalization in Sept. There were no other facilities with bed space. We as a family have been pleasantly surprised with the care my parents have received. They are now permanent residents of the facility. They allowed my parents to be placed in the same room together. This act of kindness to keep my elderly parents together has meant everything to us as a family. I can’t stress how caring all the staff members are towards my parents. The staff from front desk, office, PT,OT, CNA,RN , housekeepers ,dietary and social worker are the best. They truly care for their residents well being. The facilities are clean and food appetizing. The facility directors are very personable and hands on. They are visible and do rounds and interact with the residents. Thanks so much for caring for my parents as if they were your own family members.

When I arrived at Wallingford Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation on October 28, after being in the hospital for 2 months I was so weak, still needing a month of IV antibiotics and a lot of Rehabilitation to regain my strength to go home and be able to take care of myself. I left today November 26th, healthy strong, carried all my bags myself. The staff was amazing, so kind, not just to me but to other patients who needed far more care than me. Physical and occupational therapy really got me back in shape. Very clean, I felt comfortable. Thank you Wallingford SNR ™

Wallingford has five star excellent care. I was extremely impressed by how the employees were all nice caring, And loving. They serve three Hardy meals a day. The facility is very clean and the staff I like your neighbors they always come to check up how you’re doing. my husband and I unfortunately both needed therapy at the same time. I had a complaint & she didn’t hesitate to take care of a maintenance problem herself. Didn’t expect that. She is always looking for ways to help & care for the residents on her floor. Trying to find activities that will bring them joy. She works on a very difficult floor, but I’ve never seen her angry, upset or lose her patience. She is very kind to everyone. I am very pleased with the care that I have received in the Wallingford Rehab. I have found the staff to be attentive, compassionate and professional. Savannah at the front desk set the tone when I arrived from the hospital by smiling and welcoming me. Serina was so kind and encouraging. She really helped me through the difficult adjustments of my first days here. Gregory was also welcoming and sought to answer my questions and he solve an issue for me very quickly. Katie is, "exceptional" and she has an amazing work ethic and is so kind hearted. I like the fact that Bruce is consistently available to answer questions and resolve any issues or complaints of all the residents. Casondra is very friendly engaging and a good listener. She checks up on me and keeps supplied with items and activities of my interest along with updates in activities or events. I really appreciate the fact that Michael helped me to resolve issues with meal selection and nutrition issues. Percilla is the reason I picked Wallingford because in the past she has done such a great job helping my family and friends to recover strong. Overall your OT and PT staff that I have experienced are awesome. Thank you Percilla, Nya, Melony, and Sharah k I have been blessed by the care and encouragement of so many on staff. Lameshia, Barbara, Keshia and all the nurses who have helped me. Thank you to all my aides the are so compassionate,Tasha, Janelle Jennette, Kamara, Antoinette, Janice, Jannet, Keynedra... From the moment she arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable, respected, and truly cared for. I especially want to thank Bruce, the Assistant Administrator, for being on top of every situation. He was attentive, responsive, and proactive, making sure that any questions or concerns were addressed right away. His professionalism and genuine care made all the difference. When I was told I'd have to go to long term care, I immediately became anxious, having already spent time at another facility. Here I am, two years into my stay and I'm exceptionally happy and grateful to everyone at Wallingford Nursing and Rehab for the phenomenal care and attention I receive. I'd especially like to take this time and personally thank several people with whom I've gotten the privilege to know and be grateful for. A special thanks to CNA Petra, who always goes above and beyond for all the residents. She has an infectious smile and a love for dolphins! Any problems I've had were quickly solved by Jeanie and Bruce, the administrators. They along with Savannah(Receptionist)and Mark(Maintenance)make sure everything at Wallingford runs smooth, like a tight ship. Thank you guys!! Who knows, maybe I'll be seeing you at Bingo or movie night.

I've been to three other nursing and rehabilitation facilities in the past for post op rehabilitation, but Wallingford shines above them all. From the nurses, Leneice and Cheryl, to Physical Therapist, Rad. And Savannah at the front desk; You guys are just fantastic. I couldn't have asked for anything better than the care and attention I've received, in one of the cleanest and well kept facilities I've ever stepped foot in.

The staff were without exception wonderful, very caring, hardworking. The nurses, the aides, the therapists, all helped me in my recovery. If there was a problem, they made things right. The food was good, healthy, balanced. I could only give 4 stars because this facility is seriously understaffed, which is a common problem at places like this, partly due to lack of state funding. Otherwise, it was a very positive experience.
