Members are always taking good care of patients, they really care for their wellbeing

They tried their best and a few people really went out of their way to help my late husband out. Getting the right foods in my husband was nearly impossible, because I wasn't there for every meal. asking to give him salad..... I had to meet with the dining and food manager a couple of times.

The care that my mom got at St. Paul’s Skilled Nursing was really extraordinary. What an incredible staff of caring, compassionate, kind, and lovely experts. It’s also a wonderful, clean, and aesthetic facility. Highly recommend!!

McColl’s compares favorably with a five star hotel. Everyone was absolutely great and they do what they are supposed to do. They all did everything very well!!!

McColls is probably one of the best nursing homes I've experienced. They took well good care of my father! His nurse Janette Godoy actually brought his spirits as well as his health she was very hands on and always there when he needed her! I was very observant with Janette and noticed she was really good with all the patients she came across when I was around. Really kind and caring unlike some nurses! Lea was really good with speech therapy and lifted my dad spirits as well ...Hugo was very nice and hands on with patients always with a smile on his face...Everyone there had amazing attitudes and wanted to do what was best for the patients from where I can see... Physical therapy was also top tier in getting my dad back in shape!! I highly recommend this place!!

This rehab place is smaller than most. All the rooms are on one level, on one hallway, so it's hard to get lost even when you are a first-time visitor. It has a family-like atmosphere. The staff are professional, super caring, and they know what they are doing. There's an outdoor patio space that's each to access so residents and visiting family members can get fresh air and sunshine. It's just 2 blocks from Balboa Park so it's easy to take residents there on a short walk. There are even sidewalks with wheelchair friendly ramps along the way.

This place has recently made some changes for the better. This skilled nursing facility is very small and boutique style place. It is very family oriented and you see many people visiting their loved ones. It does not smell like the other skilled nursing homes. The food is amazing. I definitely recommend you going and checking it out for yourself. My grandfather was here for a short period. He was able to get some services from therapy and get strong enough to go back come. Highly recommend.

I was there for re-hab. They have a good program, but a postage stamp of a room! Not much equipment to use. Food is good, but not much of it. If they count 60 people for soup, that's all there is, 60. At Thanksgiving, we were given two nice slice's of turkey, one piece of sweet potato, no dressing, no cranberry's. Small salad. And the toper was the pie, a slice 1in., That's it. And since the kitchen is at another facility, no help from the kitchen. But the staff are really good people.

They truly care about their patients and the care my Dad is receiving is phenomenal! Thank you!
