I am an outside vendor for this facility. I see the negative reviews and know there has been a vast turnaround. There is new management, and with that came a whole new atmosphere. The building now has more support, which has allowed them to have resources they didn't have before, and the care reflects so. I love working with the leadership team. They are kind and very approachable. I rarely find them in their offices because they are involved with patient care and their needs. I would like to recognize the Plaza team and thank them for all they do to provide love and care for their residents.

I love this facility. My mother was transported from another facility to this one and I truly love the staff. They are nice and they take special care of your loved one(s). I especially like the communication from the facility about my mother's condition etc.. This really helps to make things much easier.

As a hospice marketer and senior placement specialist, I have been visiting The Plaza of Richardson for the past two years. During this time, I have witnessed a complete transformation under their new leadership. They have brought in a whole new team, from the Director to Nursing, the Marketer to the Administrator, leading to a noticeable improvement in the community. I highly recommend the Plaza for their exceptional level of care, strong leadership, and commitment to ensuring they have team members and caregivers who truly care for their residents. The community today is entirely different from what I first encountered in 2021-2022.

I love the plaza @ Richardson the help is satisfing n the parties are very nice and filling but the administrator is not really suitable for tis job he is a slave driver. N as for me he wants me to cover up. My woundcare nd wen it's covered its still a problem for him but all in

My Dad was at this location for more than 1 month after his stroke. Admission was easy, thanks to Katrece. Overall the place had caring nurses and staff. They catered well to my Dad's needs - diet, therapy, medications. If the team had a few more personnel and a bit better response time, it would be 5 stars.

I have read the reviews of this place. The reviews that were made were several years ago. I recently put my mom here she has dementia and she's pretty far along. They have hired a whole new crew for this place with most of them starting in January 2024. I had my mother admitted the second week of June. I have popped in at different times of the day and quite frequently I might add. I love my mother and want to make sure that she is getting the care that she needs. I have not seen any miss treatment or neglect where my mother has been concerned. I am getting to know the workers and they are so far quite great.

We recently had two family members stay here and appreciated the care the staff provided. Like any nursing home, they are not able to provide the same degree of care that you or a 24/7 caretaker could provide at home. However, I went in the home many times unannounced at all hours of the day, and I always saw staff being kind and gentle with my family. The facility is older, but it is very clean, and they freshened and painted the room for my family when they arrived. The room my family was in had a private shower, as opposed to previous facilities with a "shower room" shared by all residents. We also liked that the temperature was controlled individually in each room. The food is hot and varied, and my family was satisfied with it. The rehab staff is very nice, and there are activities almost every day for residents. The admissions director was very helpful and worked hard to help us get in within the timeframe that we needed. Overall, it was a good, caring experience!
