When we first came to the facility for my aunt the nurses were attentive and welcoming. Wound care explained what was going with my aunt, the disease process, and how we can help with the healing process. I truly appreciate them helping us out.

We had a very disappointing experience with the admissions process for our elderly mother. We began communicating months in advance regarding placement in a Medicaid LTC bed. As our mother’s needs became urgent, Olivia (head of admissions) outlined the required financial and clinical documents and provided her direct contact information. We submitted everything requested just before Christmas, after which communication completely stopped. Despite multiple emails and texts from our family and follow-ups from the SNF social worker, we received no response. While we initially assumed the delay was due to the holidays, it is now January 13th and still no follow up. At no point were we told a bed was unavailable; we were led to believe placement was likely once the process was finalized. This lack of communication resulted in unexpected SNF costs and left us scrambling for alternative placement under urgent circumstances. When it mattered most, reaching admissions was impossible. A timely update would have been far more professional.

We had a very disappointing experience with Olivia head of admissions and our elderly mother. I’m only leaving a five star so it shows up in the recent reviews. We started communicating with Olivia months ago about the admission process for a Medicaid bed in LTC as it got closer to our mother needing a facility she gave us her cell phone number and told us what the steps would be; what financials and what clinicals would be needed. We got all the required documents in order to her right before Christmas and then we just stopped hearing from her. She stopped responding to emails and texts from us as well as the social worker from our mom’s SNF. We thought perhaps it was the holidays but we’ve still yet to hear back from her and it’s January 9th. There was no indication of there not being a bed available, in fact quite the opposite. We were told that as long as she met the requirements (which she does according to her social worker) that once the interview process was finalized she could be placed. This is very upsetting because had we known that legend oaks didn’t want her or couldn’t take her - we would have had other LTC facilities picked out. We got strapped with a huge daily bill from SNF because we were thinking any day Olivia would respond. Now we’re faced with taking our mother home to live alone and waiting on another LTC to hopefully admit her. Hopefully our mother doesn’t re injure herself and end up back in a hospital. It would have been more professional to at least communicate their unwillingness to take her in a timely manner instead of stringing her and us along. Getting a hold of Olivia proved to be impossible when it counted. I hope others have a better experience when dealing with them.

There's a positive energy about Legend Northwest. They have fun and you sense it the moment you walk through the doors. They have in house therapist so patient's work with the same therapist during their stay.

This is the best facility for the elderly. They take excellent care of my Father. This is the second nursing facility that he has been in and they far exceeded my expectations for his care. His CNA ( Nikki) is very professional and very pleasant and patient with him. She is an asset to the company and she really enjoys working with the elderly. I also have to mention the DON (Danielyle Perrault) she gave me her personal phone number so that if I had any issues I could contact her. That speaks volumes about her and her staff. From the professional staff to the Caregivers, the entire team flows cohesively to provide top quality service. Wow! Everyone is extremely kind, greets you with a smile and helps to make rehab as comfortable as possible. Requesting a tour helped me make my decision right away and I’m glad I did. Alexis was able to assist me with all my questions while everyone at LOHR made things flow effortlessly and rehab manageable. The food was great too!

The staff at Legend Oaks was friendly, kind and very attentive to my husband’s needs and recovery as wells as to our family through the duration of his stay. Additionally, the facility is very clean and he enjoyed the food too! We’ve had other skilled nursing rehab stays and experiences that were not good and truly appreciated this. Where to start. Unprofessional and basic. Who calls your phone at 10:22pm at night to for no reason. WHO DOES THAT? Apparently, they do with no issue. Tv's are not working properly. Staff is so-so.

Many years ago, about 2009/2010, my uncle was in this facility and we were very pleased with the rehabilitative care he received. Based on that care, in 2017, we admitted my dad. The facility looked horrible; the food looked worse, and the staff on his wing and from the kitchen had piss poor attitudes. I took him home that night. This Christmas, I was shocked to discover that my sister had temporarily placed my second uncle here for rehabilitation. She had forgotten about our experience. However, we have been very pleased with his care. He is happy, being worked with regularly, and fed meals that at least look decent. The staff is pleasant and helpful.
