I could not give anything less than 5 stars for the care I received while staying at The Courtyards. I was on the short term wing (Presidental) and ended up being there for 6 weeks. While I was there I received physical/occupational therapy and wound care. Starting with the PT....the staff was excellent! They encouraged me to push myself farther than I thought I could go and feel like I met every goal with their help. OT...I loved the new therapist and please forgive me, I've forgotten her name. (Note to self...write things down i want to remember!) She had a variety of activities that made the time fun. The nurses, CNA's and Med Techs were fabulous! They were professional, many were friendly and never made me feel like I was an inconvenience or self conscious in any situation. The Wound Care Team was on top of their game and i know it a direct reflection of their care as i am home and continue to heal. Housekeeping...I was blessed with individuals who took pride in their work and my room stayed clean and fresh. The kitchen staff was wonderful to work with as I had diet restrictions. Im trying to make sure I didn't leave anyone out! I don't take the care i received lightly. I stayed at another facility a couple of years ago and it was not the best experience. May sound strange, but I miss many of the smiling faces! It's good to be home but they made the transition from the hospital to The Courtyards to home much easier. Thank you all! This is a wonderful place. I am very grateful for the opportunity to come here! I want to thank everyone here from the housekeepers to the Drs. I really appreciate all of my CNAs, nurses, and therapists. I really want to thank my PT Beth. Everyone was wonderful, but I felt a special connection with her. Without her help I, wouldn’t be where I am now. I want to thank her for everything she’s done. I don’t have my life back to 100% yet, but with the help of everyone there ” I’m back to 80%. Thank you everyone! Beth, I didn’t need a fancy pants rehab to continue my progress. I just needed someone like you to believe in me. I am writing to report an unpleasant phone interaction I had with your facility on 4/13/26 at approximately 12:00 pm (noon). I called the direct number to the facility about a tax document asking to speak to HR and the woman who answered was extremely rude and spoke with a hostile attitude. She repeated a number so quickly I could not write it down, and when I asked her to please repeat it she responded with a terrible sarcastic attitude and ended the call abruptly! This behavior is unprofessional and made it impossible for me to get the assistance I needed. Please review the call, identify the employee involved, and let me know what steps you will take to address this matter.

So I am a Marketing Director for a nursing and skill facility. This facility is one of our competitors. I visited the facility on yesterday and it was beyond amazing from the time we walked up to the front door. We were greeted by the activities director as she was outside with the residents for outside time. The CNA also greeted us in the hallway with a smile. The receptionist was very pleasant. The physical therapist I think her name was beth was very pleasant and had a number of tools for treatment. The residents were well kept and all dressed. The building was clean and actually looked like a hotel and very homey. This facility is doing big things! Last but not least, the Administrator Lisa was phenomenal! Very detailed, pleasant, warm and inviting. Thank you Lisa for allowing us in your home away from home. Keep up the excellent work and being a part of making lives BETTER. Thank you

We are so grateful for the care our mom received at Courtyards at Pasadena. She was transferred here from the hospital for rehabilitation and respiratory care, and our experience has been wonderful. The entire team - nurses, staff, and support personnel were all amazing. The food was great and the facility is comfortable and well maintained, which made her stay comfortable. In particular, Jessica, Michelle, Maria, Princes and Key xoxo and all the nurse staff provided exceptional care and kindness around the clock care. The physical therapists, Miss Elizabeth and Albert, were outstanding. They gave our mom the encouragement and support she needed to regain strength and independence. While she’s taking small steps, we can already see her progress, and we’re so grateful for their patience and guidance. We would highly recommend Courtyards at Pasadena to anyone looking for skilled, compassionate rehabilitation care.XOXO

No nursing facility is perfect, but for me "The Courtyard's" was a very pleasant experience. The interior may be a bit dated and slightly worn, but the employees more than make up for any lack. I felt very safe, comfortable, and at ease there. The nurses were all skilled, polite, helpful, prompt and patient. The CNA's were quick to respond, friendly, nice to chat with, and attentive. The OT's and PT's were kind, gentle, encouraging and skilled. The Housekeeping staff were through quickly and quietly and did their jobs well. The Kitchen staff would send my meals hot, balanced and tasty even as to asking what I would like to eat. This was a much better experience with a nursing facility than I had at a more expensive and higher rated facility the year before. The employees worked well together without all the drama, gossip, arguments and discord being exposed to the residents. I cannot speak for all residents or for all wings of the facility, but the Presidential Suites employees were great. Even the nursing students were a blessing and so sweet. A special shout-out to Tommy, Gloria, Rosalinda, Maria, Dawn, Wally, Esparanza, Josephine, Victoria for such great care as well as all the rest of the staff. (Sorry, I am an old lady and can't remember all the names.) Thank you all once again. God Bless!

My mom was diagnosed with oral cancer and I was trying to take care of her and work my full time job. The Courtyards of Pasadena was recommended to me by a friend who had her dad there. The medical staff and administrator and her support team were some of the most caring and compassionate people I have ever ever dealt with in a situation that was difficult for me and my family. I highly recommend this facility for your loved one, if you find yourself in this helpless situation, as I did. Their care for my mother was such a relief to me and gave me peace of mind.

Nurses sit around all day except the aid help. They have learned to pass the buck. Keep assigning the much needed care to someone else. Especially with seniors. Physical therapy is a joke unless you want to color.

I wanted to say this facility is like home the staff is beyond sweet caring punctual & amazing my husband has been here 4 days & the round the clock care he has received is beyond anything I could of expected better than the hospital he was at, they are so accurate with his meds his diabetes & sugars adjusting what's needed out of pure care, talk to him with so much kindness they clean and mop the rooms daily & the food trays for each meal are super good they even give him extras with no issues the whole facility is well maintained & clean I've been staying here with my husband & they are so kind to me as well ,they are never far away & when I leave they tend to him like they promise to do I also hear them with other patients and the hospitality is amazing ,they are patient kind & sweet to even the harder situations I can truly say if you have a loved one here don't worry they are in the best hands I never leave my husbands side but I think I can maybe go home to rest because I know they will take great care of him ...thankful for the hard working nurses cnas & staff ™ even Angie the manager who walked me around before he came made me feel so comfortable,Ms.Kia Ms Audry & so mamy more I need their names it's tough to have to let you loved one be in a. Facility my husband is young battling brain cancer this shouldn't be our life but because of amazing places like this one my heart can ease a bit

I took a tour at this beautiful nursing home. Angie and Lisa were so nice and answered all my questions. The building was huge and the pictures online did not do justice! During the tour I noticed how clean and how beautiful this building is. All the nursing staff were so nice!!! Michelle answered all my questions I had. When looking for a place for your loved ones this is very important to me. The staff was incredible!!! The therapy center and the community of the whole building would be good for any patient! I would recommend this home for any of my family members and friends. This place will be a great place for my grandmother. I'm so happy I came across The Courtyards at Pasadena.

From Admissions and Nurses, to Physical Therapy and Dining, The Courtyards at Pasadena was a Wonderful healing experience for our 81 yr old family member! Unfortunately the social worker completely dropped the ball in setting up his home health support prior to, as well as after his discharge home. However, the MDS Coordinator rescued this exhausting failure, so The Courtyards at Pasadena gets a score of 4 Stars out of 5.

We moved my mother to this facility when she became ill and we could no longer care for her appropriately as a family. Though we were apprehensive, the staff quickly made her and us feel welcome and reassured. The staff was attentive to her needs and always knew how to raise her spirits and make her smile. Every time we would visit, we were greeted warmly and my mother would be smiling. She became close with one of the nurses, who cared for her. She fondly referred to her as "my favorite". It brought us joy to know that she was making friends. This place was a blessing. My father has only been there 2 weeks but as far as I can tell he seems to be doing ok. The staff is nice and helpful. My dad is thinner than the week before but I’m not sure if it’s because he’s on a feeding tube (3weeks now) or if something else is going on. He is going in long term but hopefully he’ll be able to eat again with speech therapy and I can bring him back home. The place is cleaner than other places I’ve looked at for my dad, it could use better lighting because it is kinda gloomy.
