We had a terrific experience at Friedwald Rehabilitation Center. The nurses and aides took good care of Dad. The food was good and plentiful, and patients could select from the scheduled menu or an alternate, the meals are kosher, and available as different options as various patients need (low -salt, low sugar, pre-chopped, ...). The activity people were kind and helpful, encouraging the patients to participate as much as possible. There were a variety of activities, some of which were held outdoors on a nice back patio, if weather permitted. Friedwald is known for its excellent OT and PT, and we were not disappointed in them. Dad's caseworker was very helpful. His doctor was very kind and knowledgable. The nurses and aides were exceptional. Dad was impressed that the staff seemed to work with each other well. I was also impressed by the staff at reception, who were warm and very likable. This center also has a dialysis unit used by patients and outpatients. We did not need those services, but they were there. I'm very glad that this facility was one of the closest rehabs near my home, and that we selected it for Dad's rehab stay.

My mother Esther is 92 years old and on January 2nd she broke her ankle... 5 days later she was transported to Friedwald for rehabilitation. Our first few hours were a bit Rocky but over the course of 3 and a 1/2 months I cannot express what a wonderful experience we wound up having. The staff is Amazing from the greeters at the front desk Albert, Bethany ,Kim. Too the Wonderful AIDES !!! ...the nursing staff the food workers the entertainment in the resource center Ellie, Gisella the caseworkers Kaitlyn & Copper too and everyone !! A special thanks to the nurse's station on the 2nd floor Bernadette ,Vivienne , Pearl, Beautiful Lisa ,Peyton, Emily , my friend nurse Leath...Egda , Johnson ,Samnson Rosanna the many Marie's l mean EVERYONE !!! Jenn in housekeeping thank you and Romero the TV whisperer lol... Thank you Judy for Always checking in on us...A very SPECIAL THANK YOU to PT..you guys got my Beautiful Mama strong again Thank you Jonathan and Samantha and Malcom sooo many names my apologies but they know who they are GOD BLESS YOU ALL MY Family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts I can not forget a VERY VERY SPECIAL Angel named ROSIE Your kindness and care was Always above and beyond and your an amazing asset to the Facility and l hope they realize that !!! Anyone who l didn't mention Please know that we are Truly Grateful and we will never forget you ...you are always in our hearts. I spent so much time walking those halls l joked that when l retire l am going to apply for a job at Friedwald now l actually think l might. My husband couldn't walk when he entered the facility. 4 weeks later he's ready to run a marathon. Nurses and therapists were so good. Sending kudos out to David who transported him. Such a nice guy. Everything about Friedwald is excellent. Food was good and room was excellent. Couldn't get better care anymore. Thank you so much

My 87 year old Dad has been rehabbing at this amazing facility for two weeks after a dangerous fall. Thanks to the twice daily PT, he is back to walking and climbing stairs. He is even stronger and more steady than before his fall. A big shout out to PT, the caretakers, the cleaning crew and the Office Staff responsible for the all the insurance paperwork. My mother spent 2 months at the rehab center recovering from a broken hip and elbow. She arrived on a stretcher and under the careful and capable staff at Friedwald, has recently come home and is functionally beautifully. Everyone there from the aids to the administrative staff, the social works, the nurses and doctors were lovely to us and always made time for our concerns, all during a time where we were learning to navigate a whole new world of care while worrying about my mother. Her aids, Hyacinth and Anne, were sweet and responsive and made sure she was comfortable. The social worker we were assigned, Pearl, was fantastic, stopping by when we were visiting to make sure we were okay, explaining how my mother's progress would be tracked, and even going over Medicare benefits and how best to proceed. Every time I texted her with a question, she got back to me with an answer. Overall, it was a very very positive experience, I recommend it whole heartedly!

We worked hand in hand with the team at Friedwald center . The team was great, from the coordination with admissions, resident care by Nursing, activities coordination while working in resident areas. In all the care, staff and coordination was a home run. I truly believe that the staff at Friedwald has done a wonderful job with the treatment of my wife's grandmother. He life expectancy since she arrived at Friedwald has astonished our whole family we are truly grateful.

So far , so good as they say. My 88 year old mom has arrived at Friedwald and is in their care. She is well attended to and is not weepy . She seems more secure and is adjusting well to a very attentive staff. She recently fractured her hip. I was impressed with the attention to detail and how i was given multiple names of people to contact if i had any questions.
