I cannot say enough wonderful things about this facility. My mom is currently at respite care, and from the very beginning, the staff is treating her with kindness, compassion, and respect. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about her well-being. It gave our family great peace of mind knowing she is in such capable and caring hands. The facility is clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, and the staff always take the time to answer our questions and keep us informed. I am truly grateful for the excellent care my mom is receiving. CareOne @ Wellington is such an amazing facility that is equipped with wonderful and caring staff members. The hands on care, attention to detail and ample information provided to myself and my loved one by the patient liaison Nannette was extremely appreciated. This was such a refreshing first time experience compared to other nursing facilities. The building is extremely clean, well kept and recently renovated. As soon as you enter the lobby you’re greeted with new age technology in the form of digital billboard like displays listing all of the upcoming events. You can really tell that Peter K and his maintenance team care for the grounds as if it was their own home. They also offer onsite laundry services. The food and presentation in the main dining room is like a five star and home environment combined. Being able to sit outside on their wonderful outdoor space made us feel right at home. Some other great highlights we’d like to share are the Weekly BBQs, GREAT activities throughout the day and an extremely professional and courtesy front desk secretary named Desiree. Desiree and Ameer helped to make sure we had all the details we needed to sign up for a beauty salon visit. And YES they even have a beauty salon! Nicholas from the activities department helps form a friendly and inviting environment. I guarantee that you will feel right at home when considering CareOne Wellington for your loved ones. Nina the social worker is one of the best’ she is always empathetic, by pulling up a chair sit and listen attentively and you know what’s the best part of her presence I watched her going into other patients room and checking in with them making small talks the patients face lights up she did not even know that I was observing her that’s my experience. Her communication and dedication truly stand out. Evelyn, the aide, has shown incredible kindness and patience. She consistently goes above and beyond to make sure my grandmother is comfortable and well cared for. Yamilst, the unit manager, does an excellent job maintaining a well-organized and supportive environment. It’s clear that their leadership plays a big role in the quality of care provided. Monet, the nurse, has been professional, compassionate, and attentive. She treats my grandmother with dignity and respect, which means so much to our family. The Physical Therapy team has also been amazing, working closely with my grandmother to help improve her strength and mobility. Their encouragement and dedication have made a noticeable difference. Overall, I am truly grateful for this team. Their compassion, professionalism, and commitment to patient care have given my family peace of mind, and we deeply appreciate everything they do.

I wanted to submit a rating of this location as a testament to my appreciation for the outstanding care and service that was provided by Natasha, Nurse Monet, CNA kamika and Tyshmeka. My grandmother was recently transferred from a location in Wayne New Jersey that displayed a rude and unprofessional atmosphere which also displayed blatant racism. The CareOne at Wellington, for a lack of words, is amazing. They are absolute gems that will make sure to provide a caring and friendly environment. From what I’ve seen, the location goes above the standard and ensure every patient is properly looked after. They even create custom care plans for the patients to tend to their custom needs.

I’m very grateful for the care my mom received here. She recently had a UTI in the infection prevention nurse Natasha took very good care of her. Natasha stayed on top of everything and help Make sure the infection was addressed and cleared from your system. She also communicated with me very well throughout the process and keeping me informed and reassured. The unit manager was very knowledgeable And helpful on the third floor, and I could also speak about the director of nursing. She was amazing when it came to any problems I had or anything that needed to be fixed or adjusted.

This place has a wonderful and amazing staff and nurses. My dad has stayed multiple times here and never had a issue. From the administration making sure my dad felt like home and transferred from the hospital was great service to the nurses everyday making sure he was okay and really felt like home. Im grateful to the staff to make sure my dad is making out better than ever. Physical therapy staff was amazing, able to get my dad back on his feet slowly but much better than how he arrived. I have been to CareOne Wellungton several times and had a great experience each time. Nursing, therapy social services and the food was great. I have recommended Wellungton to my other family and friends and all have had an excellent experience. I was unable to walk when I came from the hospital and wounds on my legs and after 2 months my wounds have healed and I am able to walk out of the facility on my own two feet.

I have been here at care one in Hackensack for a little over two weeks and nursing service and the aids were wonderful. Specially, Maria and Greta in the morning. They’re very helpful. Took care of all my needs for me. The therapy department was wonderful specially Jay and Ryan any time they saw my glucose numbers go up or down they would start my therapy. Give me something to drink like orange juice. Overall, I would give this eight out of 10 they were a couple episodes with my diet when I first got here and the housekeeping, but other than that it was great being here and I really thank you for everything

My wife stayed at this facility recently and has had a much different experience than some of the 4 and 5 star reviews I’m seeing on this site . If a patient cannot advocate for themselves as in my wife’s case , there are mountains of disappointments . Had several infections which took days for the staff to diagnose and treat . On several occasions facility ran out of critical medicines for days , while my wife had to suffer in pain . A majority of the nurses aides should be fired for their attitudes . Constantly complaining openly while caring for patients. Degrading my wife the first weekend she was there for peeing too much . Turned out she had a UTI. Many times it took an hour when call bell was pressed for anyone to respond . Routinely witnessed aides hanging out in room behind nurses station instead of caring for patients . Had a life threatening infection which took days for the staff to diagnose , I had to insist on rushing her to ER . Several good experiences : Sean , the nurse supervisor was very proactive in his care of patients , very professional . A nurse named Marie was great as well as the physical therapy team . The physical appearance of facility was great as well, appearing it recieved a recent renovation . Otherwise I am steering clear of Wellington and maybe any care one facility moving forward .

I consider Care One at Wellington to be a 5 facility on so many levels from the moment you enter and are welcomed into the building. The overall staff is lead by an amazing Administrator, Mira. Mira also leads an incredible team of clinicians who are all dedicated and devoted to the care and well-being of their patients. After having my husband spent three months at Care and Wellington, I was sold on the expression, it takes a village! From admission on September 2023 to his peaceful passing in December he was cared for with dignity and respect. Due to a diagnosis of anal cancer, he was burdened with uncontrollable, frequent fecal incontinence, and constant pain. The staff never complained nor rolled their eyes. The nurses did their best to be sure that his medication’s were administered on time and as needed despite their Busy schedules. All the villagers worked together as a well oiled machine. As his condition worsened, and he became bedbound, the staff would come to his bedside in twos in an effort to keep him comfortable. Although all the staff were amazing, there are those that deserve special acknowledgment. Nurses Keisha, Marie, Courtney, Shenetta, and Nana were professional and caring. Nursing assistants Constance, Kenosha, Rose, Kevin, and Kama were most attentive. Deena was on the ball, keeping soiled clothing, smelling fresh and returned the same day. Jerry the magician was always available with a smile when something needed to be fixed. Nanette and Michael were instrumental and obtaining a private room for the family to come and go as needed and made it possible for us to have a bedside Thanksgiving dinner when our children arrived from out of town. Joannie in the financial office provided Application guidance, as well as emotional support. I would be remiss if I did not mention T and Venitizia at the front desk and Mike from security. Thank you all for your kindness and caring. You’ve turned a stressful ordeal into a memorable experience.

I am currently staying at CareOne Wellington for rehabilitation and my overall stay has been excellent. They make you feel like a whole person and that your day is full outside of therapy sessions. My therapists and nurses went above and beyond, the meals were awesome, and they made the holidays good for me. If I needed surgery again I would only want to come to Wellington and know the admission process would be smooth. I want to thank Nadine, Kareem, Fetty, Nanette, Joanie, and the social workers for helping me through this process. James, Amy, Catherine, and Steven in the nursing department were professional and played an important role in my medical recovery.

My grandmother stayed here for about two weeks. The front desk is very kind and helpful. However most of the CNA’s were always on their phones and took a very long time to come if a resident/patient called for them when I was there. The CNA’s did not know my grandmothers health information and were not able to answer questions regarding her health, care, or her abilities. The actual nurses seemed overworked and possibly this place is understaffed. The social worker appointed to us was able to get everything done and helped us a lot but again she was kind of dismissive and rude. Overall this place is average but I think all facilities like this are the same.

Care one Wellington overall three stars. The problem with Care one Wellington is their leadership. Nursing staff Courtney, Nora, Natalie, Keeyo, Tosh, and this one sweet lady over night if your family members are there you can definitely trust they will receive their meds on time and will be attended to properly. Sadly they don't work every day and night. Physical therapy team all of them are wonderful, Natosha and Allen has been going above and beyond with my sister's care. Leadership Lynette, EVA are golden my sister doesn't shut up about those two. She also said MiMi the supervisor goes above and beyond for an elderly lady 102 years. The food is ok most days she said but the team Roxanne and the Director of food my sister said some black guy medium height kind of stocky helped her for the most part those two were everything. As long as those mentioned still work their your family is in good hands. I recommend if your family members are not independent make sure you're consistently checking on them and advocating for them. When those above nurse staff doesn't work my sister says that place is so upside down. No accountability.

Overall the staff is pleasant I definitely would trust my elderly family member there. The hospitality from the kitchen staff is amazing ©©°. For what it's worth Today I had shrimp scampi I was afraid didn't know what to expect. It wasn't 5 start but definitely better than a lot of restaurants I've been to. Jumbo shrimp cleaned. Heck most Chinese restaurant don't clean their shrimp and they definitely cleaned the shrimp the green beans looked funny but tasted well. Yesterday breakfast I wasn't too happy but today I requested egg whites and fresh fruit OMG I was so happy delicious fruit egg whites great.... I would've given 5; stars but cons... If you're on medication have a stash with you because it takes a couple of days before you get your meds... I mean for the most part they'll borrow from some where else but if u can sneak your stuff in do it especially if you have some strung stuff till your meds come. The bed isn't all that comfortable and my room was probably supposed to be a private room because the sink is on the other person side of the room not in a common area poorly designed. So I had to travel all the way down the hall to feel comfortable to bird bath or just simply wash my hands after I pee etc.... Overall if needed to id definitely come back. Today is day two. I'll check back if anything changes however if it doesn't change this is it. Just bring your clothes with you toiletries etc... Also there's this one nurse she doesn't come back til Saturday.. she's like no other super sweet and attentive. If I had reservations her energy just calms you. She black women green eyes brown hair ponytail her husband works there overnight both are nurses ... Kudos to her she's definitely apart of me even wanting to do a review°. I am majorly impressed with this location. I work in the healthcare world so I have seen how stressful and short staffed it can be. It is very easy to lose sight of what is important, the patient care. The staff here are amazing. My mother has been here for 2 weeks, and the CNAs and nurses have displayed such care and positivity that I am almost speechless. I have observed the staff conduct themselves with all patients in a professional and caring manner. They do their best even when they become unexpectedly short staffed, and they have never approached my mother, nor the rest of my family, with negativity. Some of the staff members that we were blessed to have interaction with are Joanie the Business Office Manager, Tanoah the case manager, nurses Aimee, Anna, Catherine and Mamta, and CNAs Monica, Tiffany and Carmen. Joanie deserves her own recognition. The search for a location for my mother was a difficult and emotional one. She offered support and assistance every step of the way. Thank you.
