Jake Jake Jake!!! Thank you for helping admit my dad. I was desperate for a nursing home near home. At the time I called, there was no availability. Two days later, he kept to his work and I was able to admit my dad for recovery. Thank you for all your help. My family & I was on a long scavenger search for the right long-term and rehabilitation nursing home for my mom back in January 2025. After visiting several places, Bay Crest was actually the 10th on my list, but something led me to make it my 3rd stop that day. Walking in, I was immediately impressed. Words truly fail me. Beautiful, clean, and very well kept. The warm welcome I received from the front desk gave me an instant sense of peace. I requested a tour, and that’s when I met the amazing admissions team, Jake and Porshia. They were exceptional! They walked me through everything in detail and answered my many questions with patience and professionalism. Cleanliness was a top priority for me, and they exceeded my expectations. Two days later, my mom was discharged to Bay Crest for recovery and what a blessing that decision turned out to be! The nurse NA who received her (I believe her name was Jennifer) was truly an angel in human form. Watching her and her team settle my mom in gave me and my siblings so much reassurance that we made the right choice. Today marks 1 year and 3 months, and I am so happy to say my mom is finally going home with a healthy smile! Throughout this journey, I documented every visit, and honestly, my experience goes beyond what words can fully capture. I can confidently say that the level of care, patience, compassion, and dedication shown by the nurses and staff is incredible. It truly made me realize I could never do what they do. They are remarkable. Before choosing Bay Crest, I read all kinds of reviews,the good, the bad, and the uglyiest which is why it was initially low on my list. But I’m so glad we didn’t let that stop us. Our experience was completely different and overwhelmingly positive. We also spoke with other families, and while experiences varied, ours has been nothing short of amazing. I love it here. My family is at peace at home knowing am well taken care of at bay crest. Their meals are all taste and great. If you love a place to call home, recovery after a surgery,bay crest is your best bet. I get my therapy on time as recommended by my doctor and I am happily recovering. 4months and I have nothing to worry.

I live in room 12 here at bay crest. Al the entire staffs has been amazingly helpful,making my recovery safest and smooth. Their cna's are one of a kind. They answer my call lights promptly. I would recommend bay crest for any family seeking a clean, peaceful and respectful nursing home.

There's never any nursing home with 5 stars and all. Nursing is a job of humanity. I give it to the entire staff at bay crest. Always very helpful when need be. My dad's safety is ’ guarantee. Even when am not there, I am sure he's well taken care of at this home. I've been to worst nursing homes before opting for bay crest. I can assure you, the nurses and staffs are great. The cna's assigned to my dad' angels in human form. This is where I call family home. Any bad review here must be a family member who are never satisfied with anything in life. Nursing is a very hard job. I give it to all the nurses in this home. They strive for the best for all patients

My experience here has been awessome. The nurses are very helpful and attentive whenever my dad needed help. I would recommend them without a blink. No nursing home ever has it at 100%, but i am very pleased with bay crest care center.

It is a tough day when you have to send a parent to a rehab facility. But, overall, my siblings snd I were happy with the care and people working at this facility. Torrance Memorial released my mom at 10:45pm in the rain and I was worried. We got to Bay Crest and Cynthia greeted me with a smile and a welcome. Made things a lot easier to take.

Recently my mom was admitted to Bay Crest Care Center and I noticed how hard the stuff works to make the patients comfortable and card for. Many exceptional employees work here and I am especially thankful to the social workers Ms. Tahanae Butler. She has been a blessing to our family. She and most of the staff at Bay Crest are very dedicated in helping the patients.

Reading these past reviews and I’m so shocked. I had the complete opposite experience with my aunt. She had nothing but good things to say about her care. Nursing was very accommodating, business office was very helpful. As well as admissions coordinator was very informing and gave a very detailed tour.

This bad reviews are nonsense honestly. My grandma was here. And honestly the people do not understand how healthcare workers go through on the daily. You need to understand that patients have dementia and Alzheimer’s which is also a reason you sent your love one to the hospital and cannot care for them anymore at home. This facility was wonderful with my grandma. Tour was easy and very descriptive, I was also introduce to Rita which is the Administrator and was very welcoming. Hospitals, facility any health care are in shortage with nurses and will always be short staff and need to understand that. I respect and appreciate the staff!

I cannot say enough great things about Bay Crest Care Center which took care of my dad from 11/12/22 through 12/14/22. The staff were all caring, attentive and compassionate as if my dad was their own. The staff would attend to his every need with patience and love. I highly recommend this nursing facility for any of your loved ones and saw many other facilities that were less than par. Thank you Bay Crest Care Center staff for all of your love and compassion to my father.

My father was there for a couple of weeks. They were very good to me and my father his whole stay. Everything and anything I needed I was always helped. My father even improved so much! Sabrina was always a sweet heart and always took care of me when I called. The social worker Maurene was always a big help and even found a board and care home for my father in 3 days of my request. I was very happy with this place and have nothing bad to say. Thank you guys again!

They have been very good to my father. The rehabilitation has been good. They have taught him that exercise is necessary and to be more self-sufficient. They have motivated him. The vast majority of the staff are dedicated to their work. I have seen many improvements in my father. They have treated him with affection and respect.

11/28/16 After witnessing poor staffing on the PM shift my complaint will go to the top. Was not able to get my mother her pain meds due to med nurse being on break this is what I was told From the RN Karen at the nurses station the was about 8:30PM. Then my mom need the be changed both nurse were on a break Victoria was in a lounge room a few doors down from my moms room talking to another nurse while the nurse call bell was going off. And her Med nurse CNA were in the break room and not one nurse at a station at this time my husband and I change my mom ourselves we need assistance with changing her wound. This is some of the issues. At this facility you must watch your loved one closely. Not to mention the cleaningness is bad.
