The facility appears clean and well maintained, but unfortunately the quality of care has been very disappointing. My mother-in-law has been here for about 2 months. She has repeatedly waited over four hours for a diaper change despite asking multiple times. She has also been washed with extremely cold water, and when she said she was cold, she was told they didn’t have warm water. We have reported these issues to management more than once and were assured they would be addressed, yet the same problems continue. Every resident deserves timely, respectful, and compassionate care. Sadly, that has not been our family’s experience.

My dad was placed here after a stroke for about 6 weeks. At first I was kind of iffy about the place, the rooms are a little dated and small, but the care was good. I trusted the nurses, cna’s, and physical therapists. Even the receptionist and housekeeping were always welcoming and helpful! They do showers twice a week and have barbers for patients. My dad made a lot of progress being here and I will forever be grateful for them and their kindness. Shout out to Rochelle, Oscar & Rene! <3

I spent a week here after I pinched a nerve in my back and discovered an enlarged prostrate. Kaiser sent me as part of my health plan. I wouldn’t say that they were a super classy facility, but they do provide excellent services. Their nurses, for the most part, were top notch, especially Rochelle, Guerrmo, and Luis. This is crucially important in addition to the positivity factor, which alone can contribute to faster recovery and good vibes all around. Their Doctor was also of this ilk. A couple of office administrators helped me with my papers for work and they were also pleasant. And when I asked the director who number 1 was he graciously pointed to the sky. The PT crew consisted of consummate professionals who were knowledgeable, kind and pleasant. They all new just how much to train me There were some occasionally loud TVS from patients at night, bright lights shining into my room from the hallway and loud staff on the graveyard shift change, but otherwise things were good. The food was okay too. If you are on a budget, I’m sure that this facility would outshine all of its competitors in the vicinity. They are worth a try.‘™™ PS: I’m hoping to have home care and die at home someday. I hope I don’t die in a nursing home.

I recently spent my doctors ordered rehab here and it was an excellent experience. The staff worked hard to make sure patients had everything they needed. It was clean and the physical therapy crew worked hard so you can succeed. The directors kept a close eye on everything including AJ and Manny. I have been at three other rehabilitation facilities and this one is five star compared to those others. The doctors and nurses were all very attentive and the food was. What do I say and the food was typical of hospital food however very tasty. There was an alternative menu for those of us that didn’t eat certain things which I found to be very helpful.

My friend stayed there after being discharged from the hospital. He had previously stayed at another place. We requested he go back there. There was no room for him then. Now we feel lucky that he stayed at Grand Valley instead. The people are much more proactive, communicative. He improved much more there. He is now much more independent.

I was recently at Grand Valley for about 2 and 1/2 weeks for care and physical therapy. The staff was so good to me and they cared about the residents. I was making connections to them and my roommate Ralph too and had to leave. Not because they didn't want me there, or I wanted to leave, but because PT did all they could because the nature of my accident the process couldn't continue until later on. A shout out to A.J., Rochelle, Betty, Bruno, but to everyone. Thank you again so much for your caring and support!

Grand Valley Health Care has been very helpful and attentive in taking care of my wife. Personal was professional and had the patient's best interest at the top of the list. If my wife had to go to a Convolescent hospital again this location would be my choice. My wife has been to 5 location in three years and this location is the best in all departments.

A nice, attractive and inviting decor, up to date facility. The facility smelled clean and fresh. The room was nicely done reflecting a comfortable bedroom. There were staff members in view everywhere but I didn’t get a chance to interact with them other than with the nice and helpful receptionist. However, your staff is doing something right because our Alex was clean, comfortable, and he was happily able to now move his arm. He was peaceful and in good spirits! He did not express any complaints or concerns regarding the facility or the staff members. This is a very good sign. This a great nursing home. I've been here for 2 months. In my stay there I've been so happy because they took care of me. The lady in Admission office Erika Alfaro was so helpful to me. All the nurses there are very helpful. Too many too mentioned but I hope you know who you are. I am glad I've been to that nursing home. Thank you all for making my stay there as a home for me.

This care center serves 3 meals a day and seems to take good care of the patients. However i will admit it's a bit noisy when you're visiting. Also, public restrooms available in the front.

On scale 1-5 Grand Valley Health care Center deserves 4.5, it would be great if they have few more nurses, but I can say the nurses that they have likes theirs job, very professional, the costumer services it's great.I do not have comment about the food but thank you!. I am leaving Friday to an Assisted Living Places and there are some people a wish I can take with me, they really love theirs job.

Where my bed is located in this facility is close to a bathroom that even has a plumbing problem at 11pm at night, night staff often ignores your request when you ask ,food is not very good but the main problem is the evening staff should take care of patients request I asked for some sleeping pills and was ignored I wish Kaiser never sent me here I was better off at Kaiser this facility smells like urine constantly the bad part is they are the ones say it is safe for me to leave here
