I had my 90 year old mother at Woodside for about a month. She is still recovering from several fractures. It is an excellent place! Myself or my wife were there every day but one so we observed it in person the whole time she was there. I am taking her there for outpatient therapy as it is excellent. I have had PT and OT myself at several places, several times. I will go there myself if there is a next time for me. The staff is professional and they do not share information about their patients to people that are not allowed the information, even relatives! The Rehab Social Worker was awesome. A huge help like all the rest of the staff even the cleaning folks. I had many meals there with my mother and the food was decent.

My review pertains to the rehab. I had low expectations, to be honest, when my dad needed rehabbing after surgery. The hospital gave us several choices and we went with this one. I'm so happy that we did! It can be a scary time, especially when you've never been down this road before. With a few glitches, dad was transitioned in and generally received excellent care, good food, and spacious and new room. I know, staff shortages are real right now, and at times it was a hard to get someone to come and give him his pills on time, etc. General coordination between nursing staff, PT, OT, other services could be improved upon but overall, dad made progress and we are so happy! Maybe there is a new piece of technology or shared app that could connect all this information for each patient, so all of those working with them would be on the same page. I really liked that family can order food for only eight dollars for any meal along with their loved ones. Another plus, is that dogs can come and visit. The entire place is very dog friendly!

Our rescue has had the pleasure of working with Woodside for several events (prior to COVID, obviously). We once held a puppy shower at their facility, which resulted in new fosters and many gifts for the rescue. The residents had a great time as well. Speaking of, they do an amazing job of respecting everyone's privacy. It was made very clear, we were not permitted to take photos of the residents. We respect, and understand this- and love that they enforce the protection of privacy. They hosted our canine CPR class, before we had an office of our own. Once they had to cease visits for health safety reasons, they let us come into the courtyard with a parade of foster dogs for the wonderful residents to see through the windows, if they wanted to. It was very nice to interact, without putting anyone at risk. Woodside has welcomed several of our rescue dogs via their fosters who are employees, and several employees have even adopted from Lucky 7@

I feel fortunate to be a Woodside employee, as well as someone who has had to place a family member in their skilled nursing facility. I am hoping to continue employment with Woodside for another 30 years- I would be very happy retiring from Woodside some day. Woodside was there for my family when we needed placement for a live in family member, and provided exceptional care.

On March 23rd, 1918 I rehabilitated at Woodside Lutheran Rehab Center for two weeks from bilateral knee Surgery. I couldn't of been more pleased with the spacious private room with an adjustable bed. The attention and care I received was excellent. There was someone there to care for my needs 24/7. It was nice to either receive their very good food in my room or, in the adjacent restaurant. I could either have the meal of the day or, order off a short order menu. The Occupational and Physical Therapists were friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend Woodside Lutheran for everyone.

I have stayed at Woodside twice for recovery after bad falls. I found their facility very clean, the food was always good with a nice variety and I received excellent care from the entire staff. Their facility is centrally located and had ample parking. I would not hesitate to recommend Woodside to my family and friends.
