Ok, I don't even know where to start. First off, the place itself is very nice and clean. The pricing is reasonable compared to other retirement communities I've checked out and all the employees are very nice. But there's one employee there that is clearly an Angel! Kay O' Keefe helped me from day one of inquiring about a place for my father. She was very responsive and very helpful with any and all questions I had about the place. You can tell she truly cares about all the residents there and showed empathy towards me and my father after I was worried about my dad. After visiting the place and meeting Kay she was the cherry on the top for putting down my deposit! Knowing that Kay will be there to make sure my father would be ok and taken care of made all the weight lift off my shoulders. All I can say is Kay truly is a gem and Winding Commons is very lucky to have her.

What an amazing place! We went on a tour today, looking for a place for my parents. Kay did a great job showing us around. She was so helpful. Everyone had smiles on their faces, the residents as well as the staff. The apartments were very nice and spacious. All around great place.

Winding Commons is a beautiful, clean, friendly senior Living community. What a relief knowing my mom will be taken care of by warm, caring staff and be able to live an independent life. A lot of bang for the buck and prices are very fair. Hilary Hardin, Marketing Director, is a calm life raft in a turbulent see of choices and decisions. I am grateful and happy for my mom's new home at Winding Commons

My husband and I moved in seven weeks ago, enough time to know we made the right decision to move here. We hardly know where to start with why we are so happy here. Because the staff are so capable and caring, we suspect that is why the residents are smiling, so friendly, and enjoying their lives here. During our seven weeks here, we attended seven of the weekly happy hour gatherings with varied live entertainment, all so talented. The meals here are good and the menus are varied. We are so glad there are morning exercise classes each weekday, and there are just too many fun events to mention. Do we believe this is a great place for independent living seniors.

What a fabulous place! It is affectionately referred to as the "cruise ship" and I can see why after visiting. The choices of living plans are very accommodating, the cleanliness of the property inside and out is taken care of with pride, the wide variety of food that you can order to your liking is many, and I must say that what I saw coming out of the kitchen looked yummy! Their monthly calendar is full of activities, get together's, and day trips, and I found myself looking forward to moving into a place like this. I met with the Marketing Director, Hilary Hardin, who is a very knowledgeable Director, and you can tell she truly cares about the residents. All in all, I would highly recommend this Senior Living community.

Toured this center after looking for a place for my grandmother. My grandmother lives in a 2 story house by herself and after having a fall, my family felt it would be better if she were in a place with 24 hour care and people available to look after her. Hilary at the facility was amazing. She is incredibly outgoing and warm, provided a stress free tour and knew everything there was to know about the facility, can't recommend her enough, as well as the other staff we interacted with. Everyone living there appears happy and well taken care of/ looked after. Staff has been there for years and take great pride in what they do and provide to their residence. I've seen a great deal of retirement facilities in the area and this is one of the nicest I've been to. Highly recommend, my grandmother is excited to be there and feels at ease with not only the move in process/set up but the general living situation with everything available to her.

I love Winding Commons! It's a hidden gem in Carmichael. There's a beautiful tree canopy and a stream meandering through the community. The staff is very attentive to residents and goes above and beyond to serve them. There's always something fun going on. Take a tour with the lovely Hilary and her team to learn more. Winding Commons, and especially Marketing Director Hilary Hardin, exceeded expectations. Winding Commons is located in our current neighborhood. Having visited a couple years ago, hubby and I are now ready to make the leap from our large comfortable home to a 2 bedroom/2 bath unit at Winding Commons. Hilary has made the process of making this decision and preparing for this dramatic lifestyle change as simple and worry-free as possible. The community appears vibrant, smiles are evident, staff is friendly and helpful. We can't wait to enjoy our new home. (I will post again after getting settled.)

Beautiful location inside and out. The staff are always so sweet. I have gotten to work with Christine Pesola,, the Community Administrator. She is a absolute pleasure to work with and work for as she is committed to making sure her location services are on track. And she takes great pride in her work. Always a pleasure to work with her.

The casino event held on Friday was absolutely delightful. A&A events was hired to run the fun games, spin the great tunes and give out the great raffle prizes. I had the pleasure of participating and seeing all the smiles and the fun being had. The people Who work at winding commons Are just spectacular. Really make you feel welcome and cared for.

My review isn't from a person who lives there rather from knowing others that do. The 1 bedroom apt is decent. From surveying others who reside their they say it fits many needs, safety, live entertainment, happy hour, enrichment classes, weekend activities, and meals. Location is perfect for labs, grocery shopping within walking distance.

I love this property. What a wonderful place to call home! The staff is approachable and welcoming and always put the needs of their residents first. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting! The outdoor space and walking trail is my favorite part of this community. I have noticed that the residents all seem to really enjoy one another and I believe that is because the staff works to bring them all together with meaningful activities and social events. This is an exceptional option for independent senior living!

We toured this facility and Hillary Pimentel was our guide and I must say a very personable lady. She was quite thorough in her answering all our questions. As soon as we can clean out our home and sell it, this is the place we would want to live out our days in. Such lovely surroundings and lovely rooms. Hopefully by the time we are ready to move there will be an apartment available. Out of four communities we have toured, this one was the best. The Courtneys

I cannot say enough about how good Windings Commons is. The staff is friendly and helpful, and it is obvious they care about the residents. Everyone, from the managerial staff to the dining commons personnel to the housekeepers is accommodating and eager to help, often going above and beyond what is expected. The physical plant is beautiful and meticulously maintained. The food is good, too! Ray Stone and his people really do it right.
