My mother was there for 11 years. It was very homey and the staff became like family. The staff is very caring and loving to the residents. All the staff including service staff; maintenance etc. They have activities such as games in the afternoon and some evenings. And they have entertainment such as singers, group bands etc. and games to help with memory. Of course it is very clean. But is it the staff that makes it special. The 1 draw back is they don't have as many meal options such as a cafe. The main noon meal is sit down. Not such what options there are if u miss it. It is a quiet place. I would recommend for a less active, quite senior. My mother had to go to a higher level of care. I will miss everyone there.

A wonderful community for independent seniors. Provides friends and activities and is run by upmc so the staff is of the highest quality. It's like a second family here.
