My mother has lived at The Avant for over 3 years. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is very well run, comfortably and aesthetically decorated, has pleasant and caring personnel, well-prepared meals, and a wide variety of interesting activities and cultural offerings. But it's greatest strength is its size: large enough to offer everything available at most independent-living residences, but small enough to feel at home, and to foster a caring and close-knit community.

My grandparents have been here for a few years and they love it. It's like an upscale hotel with fantastic daily activities, has a fine dining room, caretakers who seem to genuinely care about the residents and beautiful decent sized rooms.
