I have been a resident here for 8 years first and now for 3 years now and since end of March with Erin as our new manager and we are very happy with the results.

After reading the reviews of the La Resolana Senior Apartments, I had to say something. I lived in those apartments for approximately 6 years. I would still be there had it not been for the death of my sister who was our mothers' Power of Attorney. That responsibility became mine. Our mom was in Kansas and I was in New Mexico and the duties of that new responsibility were too difficult to do from that distance. Therefore, I moved to the Midwest. I found the La Resolana Senior Apartments, well taken care of and well managed. Erin, the Assistant Manager was the person who did my paper work and helped me through the final process of getting an apartment. I waited a year to move in and was so glad when that day came. Erin was so organized and answered all my questions and was friendly and professional. Throughout my years there, I never heard any disrespect from her regarding the residents. I was part of a coloring group that met twice a week and we sat right outside Erin's office window. Residents came in and out for various reasons and Erin was always pleasant and helpful. Marti was the Manager and her job was to see that the rules were kept, disagreements between residents were resolved as quickly and as amicably as possible, and a million other problems that could arise during any given day. That is not an easy task with 167 units and as many residents. She hired a Maintenance Staff that was inferior to none. You had a problem in your apartment, they were there soon after the work order had been placed. I would never expect for 167 people having lived 167 different lives to just automatically come together and immediately get along. You cannot pick your neighbors and there will always be disagreements about noise, boundaries, lifestyles, etc. I guess I'm saying way more than I need to, but I want those who read these reviews to know my years at La Resolana were good. I liked both Marti and Erin and tried to be conscious of how difficult their jobs sometimes were. If you are considering La Resolana as a place to live, don't listen to the naysayers. See for yourself. Your experience will be unique. If I ever decided to move again, which is doubtful, I would go back to La Resolana in a heartbeat. However, I'm about to be 76 and most of my remaining family live in the Midwest and this is where I think I need to be.
