Like Humpty Dumpty, I was in pieces when I arrived at Kerr Lake; I couldn't walk, I couldn't care for myself. Health care professionals are some of the most important people in society; they bring us into the world and, in my case, prevent us from leaving prematurely. Because of the wonderful care I received from the doctors, nurses, CNAs, therapists, social workers, business and maintenance staff, cooks, and activity staff, after 2 & 1/2 months I am back home walking and becoming more independent every single day. In addition to the care, the empathy I received was just as important to my healing. I want to thank everyone at Kerr Lake for making my extremely challenging recovery possible, and also for making my stay so comfortable and happy. God bless all of you!

Great experience while my Aunt was a client at Kerr Lake Rehab and Nursing for several weeks following a fall in her yard. She was treated with respect, patience, and compassion by each area working with her recovery. So grateful for the entire team at Kerr Lake! I recommend this facility if looking for short term rehab or long term care.

I would give 5 stars to this Facility. They are an amazing group of caring individuals, Lisa and the entire PT staff, nurses were wonderful when my Dad was a patient there for 3-months. The team of therapists are more than amazing, Caring, ingenious, and effective. We were so lucky to have found them, when he needed extra care! They care so deeply for all of their patients. The degree of caring and compassion is so impressive...

Kerr lake has been delightful, informative, and transparent. Throughout my family members stay, they had a pleasant time even though they never wanted to leave home. They said that all the staff were respectful and made it feel at home as much as they could. I would recommend using Kerr Lake for anyone that is in need of additional care for their loved ones.

Very nice facility. I have had several family friends in which I visit on a regular basis who are patients at Kerr Lake. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the facility is always clean and organized as well. I would definitely consider Kerr Lake for one in my own family members if needed.

My Mom's stay ar Kerr Lake Nursing & Rehabilitation was a positive one. The therapy department approached her with kindness and positivity, and they were a big part of her recovery. The doctor that oversaw her care was attentive to her needs and always available. Staff members involved from admissions to administration, therapists, nursing, dietary, and housekeeping made her feel welcomed during a very difficult time. Will continue to highly recommend to family and friends.

We have been very pleased with the care our parents have received at Kerr Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation. If an issue has arisen, the staff and administration has taken care of it immediately! The staff has been very caring and attentive to both of our parents. It is very clean as well. I would highly recommend this facility for nursing or rehab care.

While not perfect all the time, my expectations have been satisfied over the years that I have been involved with this facility. I have had two of my loved ones receive care at Kerr Lake N&R Center over the last 15 years. My dear Aunt Doris received expert care while she had dementia. My mom is currently being cared for by Kerr Lake. The nursing staff is very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. The professional staff is very well qualified and on board with care of the patients. The business and administrative staff is also excellent as is the nutritional staff and the maintenance staff. All aspects of this care facility are fully engaged as a team. The few instances where there was an issue over some aspect, they acted very quickly and decisively to have the issue addressed. That is the reason I would highly recommend them for your loved one's care.

My grandmother has been a resident of KLN&R for almost two years. She loves it, and so do we! The staff are compassionate and make her laugh, something that was not easy to do when she first arrived. When she had Covid, her nurse would call EACH DAY with an update to make us aware of how she was doing - the fact that they took the time call us, with everything else they had going on, I'll never be able to express my gratitude for those updates. Due to Covid, we could not visit inside for a little over a year; during that time, we were allowed numerous "window" visits where we could see her and she could see us...I literally can't explain how good it felt to see and hear her!! My grandmother is truly alive today because of their caring and competent staff. The building was recently renovated and is absolutely beautiful, the food is delicious and always served hot and fresh, and they have and continue to take GREAT care of my grandmother. I could not ask for more. I will ALWAYS recommend KLN&R as my FIRST CHOICE to everyone!

We have been very happy with our Mom's care at Kerr Lake Nursing Center. Kerr Lake has instilled a comfort level in our Mom. Any time we need anything at all Kerr has been right on top of things. Mom always tells us she is happy and very satisfied with care provided by Kerr Lake.

This is the best place ever . The building is nice and clean, everything is kept good . The staff are nice and friendly, they go above and beyond to make sure my mother feels at home and safe .

I would highly recommend this care facility to anyone faced with placing a loved one in a nursing/rehab center. Six months ago my Dad fell at home and suffered a brain bleed. When we moved him to Kerr Lake he couldn't walk and had trouble with speech and motor skills. Their PT, OT, and Speech therapists and nursing team are amazing. Dad is back to his pre-fall status but still needs long term care. I have gotten to know many of the staff working there by their first names and this is what I hear - YES. Yes if your Dad loves coffee he can drink it all day. Yes if he enjoys long showers he can have one every day. Yes if he is having trouble with the remote we will make sure it is on NBC so he can watch golf. Yes you can book a meeting room so he can see his dog if the shots are up to date. Yes we will continue to walk with him even though he doesn't need full PT because he enjoys it. Yes we will help him with his audio books so his days are busy. Yes you can talk to nurses, staff or doctor any time. Yes you can see your Dad every day but when you can't we all know him and we care about him. Major structural renovations are going on now with this facility so the outside is not looking great but inside the place is clean, friendly, and professional. It is very hard to place someone in a nursing/rehab center. I am so happy to have the comfort of knowing Dad is in the right place.
