We have just completed our move to Good Samaritan - Water Valley Senior Living Resort. It truly is a resort with all the amenities you can think of right on the premises. The best part are the people here, both staff and residents. Everyone was very welcoming and offered assistance above and beyond! Looking forward to more time dining with and getting to know the other residents; the food and service is excellent in the dining room as well as the bistro. So grateful to have found this place!

My mother and I moved into Good Samaritan’s Water Valley Senior Living Resort a little over a month agoand it’s wonderful! The warm, friendly staff and the welcoming residents turned what can be one of life’s hardest transitions into a real welcome home experience! The building and apartments are beautiful, the food is first-class, and the activities are delightful. It was comforting and confirming to hear from the residents that most of them have been here for years. I hope I never have to leave! a long-time resident told us the first week we were here! Maribeth made the first steps to moving in seamless, and followed through with us every step of the way. The rest of the staff, too, have been warm, supportive, and a joy to be with every day. If you or a loved one are considering moving to any kind of independent living in the future, I can highly recommend Good Samaritan here in Water Valley. It really is like living in a luxury resortexcept that you’ll be surrounded by people you’ll love like family!

Good Samaritan Water Valley has been an awesome facility for my mom for the last 6 years! She has several options everyday for activities. Her days almost always seem full. The staff is friendly, skilled, and always considering the best interests for my mom. No regrets whatsoever for choosing this awesome facility for my mom to enjoy this time in her life.

The team at Water Valley, especially Maribeth, did a wonderful job helping with the arrangements to get my mother moved and settled into her beautiful apartment. The food has been great and my mother can't say enough about how nice the dining hall staff, residents and pastor are at this facility. She wasn't excited to move out of her home but loves her new carefree lifestyle.

Every time I visit the Good Samaritan Society - Water Valley campus located in Windsor, I am greeted by amazing residents and staff. Everyone is smiling, engaging in fun activities or enjoying amazing meals in the dining room. I feel "right at home" with extended family when I am here. I always make a point to visit the new Assisted Living/Memory Care Assisted Living building and I am blown away with the compassionate, loving care provided by the staff. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would!

My father moved here 1 1/2 yrs.ago and continually expresses how you can’t beat this place. It’s beautiful with spacious apartments either overlooking a lake or golf course. They have a great activities director who regularly schedules bus outings. The food is very good. The staff are wonderful. Very friendly, caring and accommodating. The residents here are happy and friendly. They make holidays very special between decorating, parties, food and events. I highly recommend this living resort.

Hello my name is Carol Mulligan and I’d like to recommend the Good Samaritan Watervalley. I would recommend it to anyone and I know we’re having a lot of people coming from the independent building to Assisted Living,which I used to be there, but this is really a wonderful place to live. It’s a lot smaller and you get to know everybody here. The girls that work here are just wonderful, the dining staff and food are always great. You couldn’t have a better staff because they’re so helpful. They always have a smile on their face and are willing to help you in anyway you want. I would really recommend it. I know in the beginning it was like oh my God I don’t know about this, but I tell you it was the best thing that happened to me and I really like the girls. The girls are just wonderful, whoever hires staff does a really good job.

My 75 year old husband has had dementia for 5 years. I cared for him until my family decided it was time to move him to Good Sam Water Valley Memory Care. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done. All the staff were so welcoming to him and sympathetic to my sadness of moving him out of our home. The staff are so caring of him and always readily tend to his needs. The building is beautiful, inside and out. I love that it is so light inside and always smells good. My husband adjusted to the change very quickly and is very content living there. I am so glad this facility was chosen by my family.

We are beyond pleased with the compassionate care our mother receives at Good Samaritan Assisted Living. The facility is clean, comfortable and welcoming. However, it is the amazing staff that consistently goes above and beyond to show love and kindness that makes it feel like home.

After searching several senior living facilities we chose Good Sam Water Valley and could not be happier with our decision. My mom has been in memory care for about 1 year. The size and limited number of patients allows for amazing attention to detail for my mom. The activities and trips that the residents go on are thoughtful and well planned. All the staff really are amazing with a special shout out to Cami, Faith and Lacy. I strongly recommend this facility for those that truly want the best care for a family member or loved one.

My mom started in assisted living and is now in memory care. Lacy is my mom’s favorite QMAP and has been so helpful to me with the transition and helping guide me as well on this journey. She has such an amazing attitude and energy that helps my mom in so many ways. The facility is amazing and I would recommend to anyone looking for the best for their loved ones.

I was invited to speak at a Men’s Breakfast for Veterans, coordinated by Jennifer French. She kept me updated on the event details and graciously took time out of her busy schedule to give me a tour of the facility. Not only did I get to see how beautiful the facility is, but I also gained perspective on the amount of work and passion she puts into her job. It’s clear that both the residents and staff greatly appreciate Jennifer’s dedication. Keep up the great work and commitment to Water Valley. Jennifer French is truly a gem at Good Sam Water Valley. As the event coordinator, she goes above and beyond in every possible way. It's clear she pours her heart and soul into everything she does, not just for the residents, but for the entire staff as well. Her kindness, energy, and thoughtfulness are unmatched. Jennifer is constantly finding creative, joyful ways to engage the residents”whether it's taking them on adventures like wine tours, plays, Black Hawk trips, or bingo nights, every event is full of life because of her personal touch. One of the most touching things she’s done was a wedding exhibit featuring the residents' own wedding dresses and photos. It was incredibly moving and showed just how deeply she honors their stories and memories. What’s even more special is how often you’ll find Jennifer (and her amazing staff) dressed up, singing, dancing, and laughing right alongside the residents. The way their faces light up when she's around says it all. Jennifer doesn’t just organize events”she creates moments of joy, connection, and love that stay with people. She is truly one of a kind, and Good Sam is so lucky to have her.

We moved my dad to Good Sam two years ago after his wife passed away. I can't say enough good things about this place. The residents welcomed him with open arms, he made some great friends and enjoyed his time here very much. The staff was wonderful and very helpful with everything I needed. You will not be disappointed.

My mom lived in Independent Living at Good Samaritan for 1.5 years and is now in Memory Care there as well. My sister and I have been very pleased with the facilities, the staff, the services, and the level of care our mom has received. Unlike other similar facilities I have heard people talk about, I feel like the staff at GS really care about my mom and take the time to get to know her. I enjoy visiting her there and she seems very contented and happy. Highly recommend!

It's always difficult to put a loved one in a care facility, but we carefully did our research and decided that Water Valley Senior Living Resort offered the best care, a pristine setting, lovely apartments, great food, activities and transportation, and a wonderful and friendly staff. We were on the wait list for a while which speaks to the quality of the facility, but finally got Mom settled in last month. She is thriving and doing very well!! I highly recommend Water Valley Senior Living Resort, and btw, their Independent Living Resort is just as lovely with even more amenities!

We have lived at Good Samaritan for two and one-half years in a twin home and are very pleased. We learned of Good Samaritan from a friend and arranged a visit with the Sales and Marketing Team. The visit allowed us to see the complex and meet residents and staff. We were impressed by the friendly atmosphere created by all we met. We saw different apartment layouts and the twin homes. We chose a twin home as we had owned a similar one and now wanted the freedom from maintenance and responsibility. We like living in Water Valley as we see the lakes and use the golf course and tennis courts. One thing standing out from our visit and living here is what we call a culture of kindness. This culture was evident in all aspects of life from our neighbors to other residents and the entire staff. We encourage our friends to visit Good Samaritan and highly recommend it. Peggy and Ed

My wife and I have lived at Good Samaritan Water Valley for about 1 1/2 years. We are very happy with the our apartment, and the staff. Everyone is so friendly and will bend over backward to help you. The food is great, but it was much better when we could go to the dinning room for our food. Before COVID we met a lot of people and enjoyed their company. Even now with the shut down there is a lot of things to do. We have Church, exercise, and games over Zoom. The staff is very good at thinking up ways to keep us busy and happy. We have our own minister who is available at all times when we need her. We would not go back to living in our own home for love or money.

We recently moved into Good Samaritan after looking at about 13 places in this general area. We could not be more pleased. The staff is warm, friendly and very accommodating. They go out of their was to respond to your every need. In general, their floor plans were larger and much more affordable than the other facilities we considered. We love the view from our balcony overlooking the Pelican Falls Golf course; which, by the way, we can play for free Sunday thru Thursday. On the other side of the building you have a lake view--tough choice! We highly recommend you check out this wonderful facility if you are interested in Independent Living, Assisted living or Memory Care. . . .Del and Joanne Ritchhart

Mark and I have lived here for 7 years. Have loved every minute of it. We looked at all of the options before deciding on Good Samaritan Water Valley. We love that it is a Christian community. The staff and residents are so Loving and Caring. You can feel the love when you walk in the door. We look out for one another. There are so many activities. You can participate in as much or as little as you want. The apartments are beautiful. I could go on and on, but come and see for yourself. You'll be glad you did!
