My sister moved from Robson Ranch to the independent living at Denton Village and was there for a few years then transferred to Assisted living for a more detailed environment. From the moment we scheduled a tour with Maria Bundock the Assisted Living Manager we knew this was the right choice. Maria treated us as Family and assured us that everyone of my sister's needs would be handled as if my sister was her sister. Every time I visit I feel as if I am in a peaceful place. Each staff member greets you as you walk down the hallway making inquiry as to whether they can be of any value to my visit. The Nurse Loli is exceptionally engaging regarding any medications my sister might need. All in all we have found Denton Village to be a great place for my sister to call home with a Special acknowledgement to Maria and her staff at the Assisted Living environment.

This place has been so good for my dad. He now has community, he exercises weekly, goes to Bible studies, enjoys visiting with others and always remembers Mexican train night. I love attending bingo w him on Mondays. Now hes even adventuring out on some Tuesdays w the lunch bunch discovery new places to eat while fellowshiping w people in his community. It's even been a good place for me to volunteer. The people are friendly, grateful and as you get to know them even inspiring. I love being part of the bingo group. It's so lively. The staff is easy to talk to in general and if there are any concerns they listen. There's so many activities, so if you're looking at this place or are new here dont be shy come and join in. We cant wait to meet you

I have lived at Denton Village for about three weeks. So far, I am absolutely thrilled with everything about this community. The people are very friendly, kind and nice. The staff is amazing. They are very quick with any issues you may have which are very few and the maintenance is outstanding. I love my apartment and there has not been a day in which I have walked down the hall and not met at least one new person that has stopped me to say hello. I can’t see myself moving ever from this wonderful community of people. The food in the dining room is absolutely delicious. The library is fully stocked and again everybody that I have met so far is an outstanding person that is very willing to help with anything I might need. Try Denton Village as you will love it I believe as much as I do.

My father is a resident at Denton Village Independent Living and I cannot say enough good things about them. My father has fallen a number of times and they gave him a Personal Help Button to push if he needs help. The Wellness Coordinator, Shaun, responds as well as maintenance men to check the status of the reason for help. In two cases my father had to have ambulances transport him to the Emergency Room. Luis, Stephen, Antonio, Robert and Victor with the maintenance have all helped my dad by responding to his push for help. Special kudos to Antonio for fixing my dad’s lift chair while I was out of town and not able to assist. I cannot say enough good things about Denton Village and how much they actually care about all of the residents that live there as I’ve seen it with my own eyes how they care for others other than my dad. I am confident that my dad will be taken care of even if I am not there. Thank you Denton Village for all that you do!!

My father and stepmother have lived in Denton Village a little over 2 years and I have had many opportunities to visit them there. I have found it a very welcoming place with a multitude of activities offered. The staff is friendly and seems to care greatly for the residents. I have heard from my family that the food there is really good and that they have a great chef. I hope I can find a facility near me with such a sense of community if and when I need one.

Jamie did a terrific job taking my mom for a tour. She was a gracious hostess and took the time to answer our questions and show us several options for twin homes. Sandy called to follow up. The whole staff is very helpful and there to serve. Thank you Denton Village!

I’ve lived in Denton Village for about four years. This is a wonderful place, replete with services and activities. The recently remodeled parlor is a marvelous gathering place. I seldom fail to find friends to talk with when I go down there in search of a change of pace.

My mother stayed there for a short stay w a broken hip and they were very helpful and nice although they don’t allow family to stay over night but that was the only complaint ( the transportation needs some improving)

No particular complaints about the facility or the staff. My mom loves to visit and make friends. The only complaint we have is that since the ownership changed the food offered in the assisted living area is horrible. However, the food in the rehab portion is significantly better. (I cannot speak to the food in the dining room that serves independent apartment living) Something needs to be done. Residents should not feel like they need to keep food in their rooms because of the poor quality/preparation of the food.

When I moved in my furniture did not join me for 2.5 weeks. Denton Village manager, Laurie Diamond, arranged a folding bed, bedding, an arm chair loan and even gave me a table, 4 chairs and a cabinet. Staff has continued to be supportive and pro active in assessing and fulfilling resident needs consistently through the months we have lived here. I have observed staff providing so much service to everyone. I can not praise Denton Village and all its managers, enough.

I toured today with my long time friend in the senior living industry-Sandy Rasberry !! The formerly known as (Samaritan House) Denton Village was bought by the Pure Health company a little over a year ago and they have a huge focus on client satisfaction. They are renovating; they have a team in place with so many years of experience it speaks volumes! I ate a piece of their made from scratch Carrot Cake, I mean it would have been rude to refuse it, right? It was delicious! I saw some managers I have known over the years from working in this field for so long. It's like family. They offer Skilled and Rehab, Assisted Living, and Independent Living. So glad I toured today. Great job Sandy, Brenda, Felicia, Ashley and the whole team.

I had an incredibly positive experience at the Denton Village Rehab Center. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel very welcome. Patients were clearly treated with dignity, kindness, and compassion. The nurses and aides I met were very kind, helpful, and seemed to genuinely enjoy caring for people. The facility was clean, well-organized, and welcoming. Most importantly, I feel confident knowing our loved ones are in capable and caring hands here.

None of us expect to experience a truly magical moment attending a Christmas party at a nursing home. But wonderful things can sometimes happen in the most unexpected of ways. My husband is a temporary resident at the Lake Forest Village skilled nursing facility in Denton. Sharing with him the communal joy of the room filled with laughing, clapping even a few nostalgically tearful party goers in wheelchairs was beautiful. The entertainer, Shanna Divine, worked the crowd with love, whatever the ailments on display. I thank the facility’s art director, Victoria Soto for creating such a moving program. Let me also express appreciation to Wanda Richard and to the other staff members for making this event and the facility as a whole truly feel like a warm and loving home.

Thank you to the Skilled Nursing Team at Denton Village, My mother had to have therapy before coming home, she was there from 12-3 to 12-20. The nurses and assistant nurses on her hallway were very accommodating in giving her the medications and assisting her when she needed it. During breakfast, lunch and dinner, if you’re not getting your food delivered to your room, all staff in attendance, assist in moving the abled patients to the cafeteria, side note, the food was prepped and cooked very well. While walking through the hallways, you’re always greeted with a good morning, afternoon and evening along with a smile. Also, the administration were easily accessible to talk with and helped you with any questions or concerns I may have had. Props to the activities team in keeping everyone occupied and involved in events they had organized. Thank you to everyone that helped in getting my mom stronger to get back home. The reason I’m able to describe this facility so well is, I stayed with my mom day and night while sleeping in her room in a chair. Thank you very much, Gino Montague and mom, Estrella.

DENTON VILLAGE North on Himkle Drive aka Good Samaritan has certainly surpassed my expectations during my Rehabilitation. I arrived in a very precarious condition and was immediately given the best of care. The Nursing Staff and Aides are well trained, patient, and continually surprise me with their kindness. The Nursing Supervisor Barry, runs a tight ship and it is obvious 24/7. My Physical Therapist Dace is outstanding and because of him, my recovery progress is on a Faster track than I could have ever expected. The hallways shine, the rooms are cleaned every day and the Menu choices are plentiful.i only experienced one shift where my care was not FIVE STAR & I never saw that employee again. I highly recommend Denton Village.

My mother received great care at Good Samaritan on Hinkle rd. The staff was kind and helpful and provided excellent care. She said the food was good, which she wasn’t expecting. And she really liked her physical therapist. Felicia and the entire staff are doing great work!

What an amazing caregivers place!! My husband's successful rehab was attributed to everyone's knowledge and expertise and dedication to his recovery. This was administration, nursing, dietary, housekeeping, laundry, social workers, Activity Directors and Assistants, maintenance, and more.

My mother has lived here for 3 years. It's a bright and cheerful place with a lot of activities and amenities. All the staff is kind and attentive. We dine their with her regularly and the food is delicious! It's been a great place for her =)

I am impressed by how well The Good Samaritan is run .The grounds are delightful year-round, The staff is friendly and helpful. I have never seen the open community areas not looking and smelling fresh and clean.

Good Samaritan Village on Hinkle Street in Denton is a active and caring retirement village and my mother and father in-law have a duplex there and have been there for 8 years. They are very happy living there and stay very busy. The staff at Good Sam is the best!
