Bayou Oaks is a wonderful place to call home! It's due to our Manager Wendy and Ozzie Maintenance! They go above and beyond for all the Residents. Wendy works to create a safe and comfortable envoronment and is always available to listen and assist with any issues with patience. Ozzie can meet any challenge that calls for repair and restoration and always gets the job done-- in a friendly manner!! Bayou Oaks has the best leaders Wendy and Ozzie!

As a resident of Bayou Oaks for about 2.5 years, I can confirm that both Wendy (manager) and Ozzie (maintenance) take really good care of all of the residents! Wendy keeps us informed, for example: there is a storm approaching or the local hospital wellness bus is coming for a visit. Communication is key to keep residents safe and informed and Wendy stays on top of things. Ozzie goes out of his way to keep everything in working order! Whether it's changing a light bulb to repairing an air conditioning unit, Ozzie provides prompt, quality support for all of us. He goes the extra mile to keep the property very clean and running smoothly. Highly recommend Bayou Oaks for quality, safe housing!

Wendy and Ozzie are terrific people, they are quick to respond to any issues you have. It is a quiet neighborhood and the grounds are kept well. They do a fabulous job of taking care of Bayou Oaks.

April 12, 2024 It is with great respect and gratefulness, I have had the pleasure to have both, Wendy, our Residential Manager and Ozzie our Maintenance Supervisor. I have been here for seven months. I appreciate that I can enjoy my privacy, yet have access to a pool, various amenities and small social gatherings. We truly are blessed, to have such a dedicated team. It really does make a difference. Have I mentioned, I love it, here! I thank GOD, for such a blessing.

I've rented residences all over the country, including California, Colorado, New York City, and St. Louis to name a few...and I have never (ever) met such super professional, caring, and just plain NICE folks as the manager here at Bayou Oaks—Wendy Cooper—AND her multi-talented, super superintendent, Ozzie (Osvaldo) Azahares. I NEVER have to worry about anything going wrong here at Bayou Oaks because I know this complex is in superb hands! IF I could vote for Wendy Cooper to be President of the United States (and manage it the way it should be) I WOULD!!! Yes, she's that talented and reliable ; )

The moment Wendy and Ozzie walked me into my new apartment some years ago, I knew instantly this was home. Yep, fell right in love...every time I go out for errands etc and return, I smile cause I'm home! Wendy is a super manager, my hero..and Ozzie, the best "fixer" of all...a super pair,these two. Village Oaks to me is lovely, could not be happier calling this complex my home...blessings and love to everyone!!

I have lived at Bayou Oaks for just over a year now & enjoyed every minute. Wendy Cooper, our Apartment Manager, goes out of her way to ensure the residents have a safe & quiet living space. Ozzie does the maintenance pronto & often has helpful stuff to mention with repairs so they aren't needed again. I have been residing at the Bayou Oaks Apartment for the past 3 years and I absolutely love it here. The property is well illuminated, security cameras, friendly neighbors and prompt maintenance. The Property Manager, Wendy and Property Maintenance, Ossie do a fantastic job in keeping the property and apartments well maintained. Great senior environment. I'm happy I chose to reside at the Bayou Oaks. They ROCK!!!!

Wendy Cooper is the finest Property Manager I have experienced. She is resourceful and always nearby when needed. Wendy has prepared our tenants for emergencies such as hurricanes. She is always on the spot and helps us to be ready for dangerous situations, ahead of time. Wendy possesses a sweet but tough no nonsense work ethic. She is a problem solver, and works well with Osvaldo Azahares, on Property Maintenance. Osvaldo Azahares, our Property Maintenance man, is highly skilled, and never leaves the property with unfinished work for a tenant who needs help. He is skilled in all areas of maintenance, such as electric, plumbing, wood repair, and beautification of property, from painting to planting. I have known Wendy and Osvaldo for almost 10 years, and at all times, they are patient and respecful to the tenants. At times the tenants do not know how to explain things, (many are quite elderly), but Wendy and Osvaldo listen until they understand the issue, and then they proceed to resolve the problem. Wendy Cooper, the property manager of Bayou Oaks, runs a tight ship that benefits every resident! The property is neat, clean, well-cared for, and responsive to the needs of the residents. Wendy's handyman, Ozzie, can fix just about anything, and he does it so fast that I leave in the morning, drop off a note explaining what is broken, and by the time I get home from work it is fixed. I'm glad I found Bayou Oaks and I highly recommend it to anyone over 55 looking for a great place to live without the exorbitant fees charged at other locations.

We can't believe our turn of luck! Within three days of hearing our landlord saying he was selling the building where my wife and I had our Art Studio and Residence for ten years, we immediately started searching for a new place to make our home and studio. That's a daunting task in the city of Sarasota Florida, and being in our late sixties we needed to consider the type of dwelling that would serve our needs at a price that two artists could afford. That's exactly when good fortune arrived, by meeting Wendy Cooper, the Manager at Bayou Oaks Apartments. Wendy understood our predicament and immediately made us feel like welcomed candidates for becoming part of the community of quality tenants. Her sincere but no-nonsense approach to her job revealed the kind of executive who knows their stuff! Wendy's management works seamlessly because she commands a dedicated team, albeit a small team, comprised of one very skilled property maintenance-person named Ozzie. He refurbished 'our' apartment so thoroughly, it appeared brand new! Bravo! We are so pleased with our place in this vibrant community called Bayou Oaks Apartments.

Ive lived in Bayou Oaks Apts for 12 years. Because of Wendy and Ozzie, our dynamic duo, it is a lovely community. The grounds are always manicured and if something is wrong in my apt, Ozzie fixes it right away. I love living here.

We really like Bayou Oaks. It's like having our own little neighborly community. Wendy the property manager has been professional, and helped our move - in smoothly.
