My husband daughter and myself went to visit our parents today we had lunch there the staff were so kind and considerate the food was excellent the whole place was very clean and inviting they moved in a week ago yet the staff called them by their first names their living are was bright and cheerful Thank you it was a good experience

My parents didn't think they would enjoy the comforts of the Regency in Lakefield this much. They love the friendly and cozy atmosphere. Everyone, staff and residents, are very helpful and kind. They both like the food and the choices they are offered. My father has been watching the after dinner movies at the in-house theatre, "Sorry, can't talk now, they're showing the Sound of Music tonight, I need to go..." and loving it! The retirement residence itself is situated a block from a beautiful paved walking trail with benches to relax. The close proximity to downtown Lakefield with it's adorable shops adds to this wonderful experience. Thank you to the Regency staff who truly make a difference. 5/5 stars!

My mother moved into Regency of Lakefield just before the New Year, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience so far. From the very beginning, the staff have been incredibly welcoming, kind, and supportive, making what can be a big transition feel smooth and reassuring. The community is warm and inviting, the building is clean and well cared for, and it’s clear that the residents are truly valued. We already feel confident knowing my mom is in a safe, caring, and engaging environment.

Regency Retirement Home is truly a warm and welcoming community. The staff go above and beyond every day, treating residents with genuine kindness, respect, and patience. The building is always clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the atmosphere feels safe and home-like from the moment you walk in. The programs and activities are thoughtfully planned and give residents plenty of opportunities to socialize, stay active, and have fun. Communication with families is excellent, and it’s clear that the team genuinely cares about the well-being of everyone who lives there. I’m grateful for the level of care and compassion shown here. Highly recommend Regency to anyone looking for a supportive and uplifting retirement home.

Enjoyed the Victorian Tea & Open House at the Regency on Sunday, May 25th. I felt very welcomed by the staff and the Tea and small dessert were good, similar to a high tea, something you would pay $25 or more for in Toronto. The rooms and halls of the building are cherry and delightful colours. The word is getting out, it is a good place.

I had an excellent time when I went to Regency to see about a respite stay. I had a very nice lunch and a boy named Brennan came out and took my order and explained the menu to me. He also showed me the weekly menu which i loved seeing. I seen their studio suite after lunch which is used for respite care. I was very impressed. It had a big bright window/sliding glass door. The bathroom was beautiful and big. A real plus for me as I am a full time wheelchair user. The wheel in shower had a 3 inch ledge across the bottom to prevent any water from getting out of the shower like all retirement homes have but that was not good for me as I'm not able to roll a commode in there for my shower. But this will only be for a respite stay. I was very happy with what Regency had to offer. It has been the best retirement home I've seen. It gets an A rating from me.

If my family member or myself needed a retirement home to live in , I would choose the Regency. It has very homey atmosphere with lots of charter. The managent and staff go above and beyond to make sure the residents are well taken care of, and everyone is welcomed. Rest assure living at the Regency would make your life easier. You would have lots of time to mingle with your new friends or join in the events and activities. There is always something to do.

My dad had a great experience at Regency after his hip surgery. The staff was very attentive and his fellow Residents were wonderful. In fact, he recognized some of them as he Lives in the area. I would like to see him return to Regency of Lakefield one day as he really enjoyed his stay during his recovery. Johnston

I was part of a group having lunch at The Regency. The lunch we had was fabulous. The after lunch tour was very nice and informative. The large rooms and the wide hallways, lined with artwork was impressive. I recommend the Regency!

As a new resident I would like to refer to the architectural arms of the building as symbolic of what I have experienced. Within, one is immediately treated to smiles of welcome from both staff and residents. This is a caring community and I appreciate my good fortune of my experience here.
