My brother is here after becoming very ill with a bacteria infection that left him unable to use his extremities so needs PT. I am very impressed with how nice it is and the care my brother is receiving. My only complaint is my brother is in 314 and it is the size of a closet not the size for two patients as when both have visitors it's very crowded with no where for anyone to sit. Also when I visit I am so close to his room mate that even wearing a mask I could get sick not only from my brother but from the roommate. Not sure if other double rooms are this small but think you should reconsider this being a double room. My brother seems to like his caretakers and they are very tentative!

My husband was in need of skilled nursing for a traumatic brain injury. Avon Oaks was recommended. We were so impressed!!! Everyone there was so kind and caring and helpful and compassionate. If you have a loved one in need, we would highly recommend Avon Oaks.

The facility seems well managed. One negative is that the guest wifi signal is too weak to use in the memory care wing.

My wife is a resident at Avon Oaks and is getting great care. The staff is very friendly and attentive, not only to her, but the other residents as well. They take the time to talk to you, answering questions and making sure you have what you need as you visit. I am with my wife most nights helping her with her dinner and have the opportunity to watch the staff at work taking care of everyone. If a call light goes on, the staff response time to the resident in need is minimal. They work together as a team. The facility is clean. To me, the residents are treated like family. The food is good with plenty of choices available from which to choose from. Avon Oaks is a great place! Keep up the good work!

Caring compassionate and loving staff. The aids are beautiful caring people! I was a difficult patient due to some PTSD and they were amazing! The food was 5 stars! They had things you could pick if you didn't want what they were having! There was a couple of hiccups but they were on top of them and fixed them quickly! I am a 56 yr old patient who had to come here for rehab! Thank you for being so kind and patient!

My father was there I stayed every night because I did not feel safe leaving him there by himself..The room was clean..aids and nurses at night were very nice...but during the day even after a ski,g multiple times they did not address his increasing edema ..We had to threaten taking him out of there to take action....then when he got better and wanted to go home..at first they said no..he was cleared to stay another week..it wasn't for anything but the collection of money.

I have worked here for 14 yrs. Quit about 5 yrs ago. Placed my dad there cause I trusted them. They were great with my dad. Treated him as family. I was so happy to see all the love and compassion they gave my dad and the family. Best staff ever.. and thank you all for the love you given...keep up the great job. Joan you should be proud of your staff they are amazing and I miss them all
