I am a resident of Sandhill Cove, and in my decision making to be my place for my final days was a very good decision. I had known about Sandhill Cove but not really seen the total picture. I would never have to make another move. I have found that people and staff are just absolutely amazing. Any question you have is answered very quickly. Everybody knows everybody else, I know where to get the right resources at the right time. I also appreciate the fact that residents are included in many decisions and invited to the various committees. The organization is aware of the importance of residents input. All aspects of our needs are taken seriously and the communication process is well described. The variation of programs speaks well of the people who do the planning. I always feel that my needs are taken seriously and input is appreciated.

Sandhill Cove is the best place to be. I have been here 21 months and totally enjoy myself. So many activities, I have selected chair yoga(you do get a great workout) and Hand and Foot(never played before but it is fun). The "Campus" is beautifully maintained. Everyone gets a water feature out their windows. The apartments are spacious and well laid out. Now, to talk about the food! OMG! The weekly variety of delicious choices is amazing. Our Chef, Pastry Chef and the Soup Chef are superb. You really should check this place out. If you are 62 or older come check Sandhill Cove out. We are friendly, active people here with no worries for house insurance, taxes, HOA fees. Almost everything is taken care of. Kind of like being on a cruise, but better. By the way, my parents came here in their early 70's, traveled the world with no worries about home care. And they are here, still! Going strong after 24 years. You are retired, now get on with the rest of your glorious life, here. Check Sandhills Cove out.

From the minute I first visited Sandhill Cove I met the Marketing Director, Jill Burton. I was in tranced by the place. After moving in and participating in many of the activities I found that the staff and residents were all welcoming and friendly. The facilities are unbelievable. The surroundings and landscape are kept immaculate. I find our food selections in the dining room and The Cove to be varied and delicious. After transferring three times within the community, we moved to our beautiful villa on the lake. I love every minute of it.

Sandhill Cove, what's Not to like? The weather is very enjoyable there's nothing to shovel. The people are great. The staff couldn't be more helpful. My wife loves the pool. I love the golf program. I especially enjoyed being on the scholarship committee which awarded tuition money to employees. The peaceful view of the river from the dining room adds to the enjoyment of every meal. You'll find everything you're looking for here at Sandhill Cove.

A wonderful place to live. People are so friendly with lots of activities. Pickleball is only five minutes away, while golf with friends from Sandhill Cove is only 15 minutes away. There is lots of bridge. It's wonderful to never have to cook again! All of our needs are taken care of. The water views from the dining room are spectacular. I researched most all the Continuing Care Residential Communities (CCRC) in Florida, narrowed them down to four, and Sandhill Cove (SHC) in Palm City won my vote hands down. All the facets of making a move on my own were in place with the help of a top notch Marketing team at Sandhill. It was the best decision I made. For someone on their own with very little family to be available as I get older, and possibly need extended nursing which runs way over 14k monthly, this CCRC model makes higher levels of care on their campus affordable. It takes care of the moving you to higher echelons of care if your incapacitated. What a burden off my shoulders. I've been a resident here for 5 months now, feel Ike I've met almost all the residents who have all welcomed me and made me feel a part of the community. I have branched off the facility to volunteer at the local Hospital so moving in here doesn't mean your life has to revolve around SHC for all you activities. The food is great with different venues to eat any meal you so desire. So nice not having to shop and cook everyday. Your 15 minutes from the beach and this area is beautiful and out of the traffic and hassle of further south from here. I could go on and on, but come see for yourself. After visiting the four I had narrowed my search down too, SHC was the last one I visited, and almost cancelled because of being somewhat disappointed in the first three I was ready to quit, but decided to check it out seeing it was on my way back home, and the minute I drove in, I knew this was the place.

The staff members were knowledgeable and informative and the residents were warm and inviting. Truly a beautiful atmosphere for folks looking to live out their senior years without the worry of medical care needs as they progress from independent living all the way up to skilled nursing if needed. My wife and I plan on joining their "Captain's Club" which puts us on a waiting list and gaining seniority on that list so we can choose our living accommodations when we are ready and move in quickly. I started working here at Sandhill Cove In June 2010 I worked as a temp in the Marketing office for 30 days to fill in till the person who was hired could start her job. I was so ecstatic to be here then, I got a phone call in August 2010 from the same temp agency to see if I would like to come back to work as a Facility Clerk in the Maintenance dept. I jumped at the chance to work at such a beautiful place. I was hired on February 14, 2011. I am still here and love working with all the staff and residents. I have had a few different titles here at Sandhill Cove. I am Currently The EVS Manager. I love what Sandhill Cove stands for and am grateful to have gone through the pandemic here. I was able to continue working every day we were checked in by security and we still stop at the gate for check in, always greeted with a smile and how are you today, have a great day. We are all a team here and do our utmost best to help each other in every department. We were able to stay here and serve our residents. The landscape here at Sandhill is really so wonderful to look at. I am often amazed at the beauty that is here and yes I do stop and smell the roses. I love being at Sandhill Cove there is no place I would rather be working at.

My husband and I have had the pleasure of living here for the past 5 years. You can't IMAGINE how lucky we are to be living here and not only because of the Pandemic, although Sandhill Cove residents were at the top of the list for our vaccinations and booster shots, can't complain about that! Health at Home is on campus and that makes it so easy. If you have an RX for blood work, they will come to you residence and take care of you. How wonderful is that having a medical team at your door when needed. We are independent living, and it's been a fantastic experience with the staff and all the amenities' right at your finger tips. All kinds of recreational and social activities if you chose. Bottom line, something for everyone!

I consider Sandhill Cove to be the Best Community to "Work" and "Live". It's a resort style campus with a beautiful location on the St. Lucie River that we all enjoy everyday. There are many amenities and programs on going to include wellness and social activities along with wonderful dining options. It gives you a neighborhood feel with many choices of floor plans and views of the river, gardens, waterfalls, lake and our residents enjoy living in an Independent environment with health care services when needed in the future....I personally love to see our residents thrive living here and their family has a Peace of Mind they are happy and well taken care of. It is unique since it is the only "Life Care Community" in Martin and St. Lucie County and offers 24 hour security. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I have worked for Sandhill Cove 11.5 years to date.

One of the best decisions of our lives was when my husband and I decided to move to Sandhill Cove seven years ago. It is a wonderful place with a beautiful campus, good food, excellent staff, and, best of all, great residents. My husband died a year ago and I have been embraced with love and support from the people here. There are more activities than one can take advantage of and you can be as social as you care to be. If/when I need medical care there is a full range of assistance right on campus, but living in the independent area is like living on a cruise ship ! I don't understand why all seniors don't live in a Life Plan Community.

My wife and I have lived here for almost 3 years and it was the best move of our life. So liberating to know it's the last move. Downsizing was a awesome experience. The community is a gorgeous location in Palm City Florida on the St Lucie River. The entire staff is like family and the residents are a pleasure. There are so many activities to choice from "on campus" but we thoroughly enjoy our "independence " also. So relaxed to know if you need assistance or "Life Care" it's right here on campus. The dining experience is fabulous and so many choices to pick from. Also, so many fun holiday celebrations. Just can't think of any place else we would want to spend the rest of our days.
