I would truly recommend Sterling Health & Rehab to anyone who is going to have to stay in a rehab place and get physical therapy. Their physical therapy dept. is top notch. If you are willing to do the work they are there for you. Their care of you while you are a patient there is super. They are very attentive and caring. Pretty much anything you want or need they are there for you. God forbid I will never be in a position be there again but if I did I would choose Sterling Health & Rehab. Karen Thorn

We set an appointment for a meeting with the administrator (Clint) and another employee (Breanna) to discuss changing a MPOA and to see how to arrange a day pass for Christmas. We were stuck out of town and unable to make the meeting and let them know in advance of our situation. We've been trying to reschedule the meeting for a week now. It feels like Clint has his calls screened, and he does not return calls. This to me, is very disrespectful and unprofessional, hence the poor review. On the other hand, the nursing staff is friendly, attentive, and somewhat informative.

During my grandma’s recent stay I was impressed that staff was able to get her to participate in activities through out the day. She was never one I imagined would look forward to her new routine but the activity director and other staff were able to make her feel comfortable and fit right in.

My husband has Parkinsons with dementia. The staff are so kind and help him with so much. He is getting good meals and loves all the attention he gets from them. I know he is in good hands with them

Sterling Health & Rehabilitation Center takes pride in making sure the members receive the best care possible. The environment is clean and welcoming for all. I love that they create events involving the community and it allows members to interact with others. You can tell that they take pride in their work by the way it is ran. Sterling Health and Rehab employees have become my family over the past year. My mom and father were both placed in their care a year and a half ago and neither one was in very good shape. My mom passes last July and Yasmin sat with my for hours by her bed in the last moments of her earthly life. THAT is going above and beyond and it was deeply appreciated through such a difficult time. There were moments through that time we thought my father was going to follow her but b/c of the loving care at SHAR, I am proud to report he is thriving. He told me last week he feels so good that he wants to go back to college! Can't thank this company and the people who work for it for their compassion, love, and over all support. They have made dealing with declining parents much easier.

I have been here for 45 days and have always had very good care from the nurses and the cnas. My physical therapy has been very helpful and always first in attention. It is coming time for me to go home and have mixed feelings about leaving.

Nursing Mrg Sarah is courteous and professional, really on top of her game! I have had two separate stays at this facility and both times have been wonderful. The people there are very nice and engaging with all of the residents. The PT and OT staff are very Hands-On with the residents as well as the temporary therapy patients. I plan on going there for outpatient Rehabilitation, if I can

We were so unsure about placing my mother in this facility, but we were completely wrong. Choosing Sterling Health and Rehab was the best decision we could have made. Shout out to the director of nursing, and her staff who always treated my mom like a human and not just a patient.

Nevertheless it's important to convey my apppreciation for the care she received while at your facility. In the past few years I have been my sister's POA when it comes to her health. Durinng that time I have encountered many clinical individuals responsible for managing her care. None more thorough, professional, competent and supportive as you, not just towards her, but for me as well. My sister presented with not just serious physical challenges, but emotional distress as well. Thanks to the overall approach of you and your team, and your insights/understanding/knowledge and recommendations of the appropriate treatment plan required, my sister progressed in her recovery quite well. I just want to thank you and your team again for taking such good care of Bonnie. Most everyone in my family is a health care professional...we know good care when we see it. My momma had a slight little fall that set her back and needs some rehabilitation time. The care has been so great and wonderful we have been so happy and grateful .. Any kind of need we have they are there to help . I highly recommend a place like this if you ever need care

My experience and opinion is based upon my family's time here with my mom on comfort care...basically hospice...for over a month. I wholeheartedly thank God for my momma spending her last days here. Every SINGLE staff member...literally...med staff, kitchen, janitorial, therapy, front desk, the damn people that bill you and need paperwork...yes them too. This was the most incredible and genuine place and crew I could have hoped for;while going through one of the hardest most unfathomable times in my life. Of course, I'll never forget the past month and a half, as watching a loved one fade away or slowly pass, especially my momma, seemed unbearable. The medical knowledge and driven attention; combined with sincere love, compassion, empathy, and pure realness!.That's the word that comes to mind...REAL. Every person truly made me feel comforted, comfortable, and at ease. This was something that broke me, at times, and challenged me, more than ever, but I guarantee I could NEVER have made it through this without the sincere support we were blessed with here. I witnessed many patients and residents and their care; throughout the month my mom was here. I have nothing to say, but amazing incredible. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU...to every single individual. You all loved my mom and cared for her like family, as well as myself and anyone who came to visit. I will never forget how great you all were and how much you helped me get through this. And most importantly, the unprecedented care you gave my momma. Her last days here were filled with comfort, respect, professional care, attention, among many more positive feelings. Thank God for this blessing and not the typical stereotype horror story experience. I'm not gonna lie...that's a big fear when faced with this. We love you all and can't thank you enough. I so appreciate all the care that Sterling Health & Rehab gave my mom. I watched my mom get stronger, eating better, overall remarkably better. All the staff there is so loving and caring. She became enough better that she is able to live with family. A+ to ALL the staff, rehab and management for their excellent care for mom as well as our family.

The activities at SHRC are way way better then the norm, Phil goes above and beyond for the residents everyday, everytime.. and the aides(CNA) some of the best people I ever had the pleasure to meet.. Thank you Sterling Health and rehabilitation

I am very pleased with this facility. It has improved a great deal since the new company has taken over.. They are very caring and helpful. Special praise for Shelley who makes visiting a joy and Phil who cares so much about the residents.

During my stay at Sterling Health & Rehab Center, I was so pleased at the care I received. My goal was to have Physical and Occupational Therapy so I may go home soon. The facility was great to me. I enjoyed the food, activities, and the staff was so kind .. Now that I am at home I continue to exercise and walk with my quad cane. I have had my wife in SHR for a year and they do a great job taking care of her. She has dementia and can be a real hand full. These people are very patient with her and they keep me informed about what is going on with my wife. They are making sure she has a balanced diet. My wife enjoys the food there and seems to know the names of all the staff. I can't thank Sterling Health and Rehab enough, for taking such good care of my best friend.

Having just come off major surgery in November, was happy to find a place for some rehab. From the first time I entered the front door and met Shelly, I was in good hands. I know I didnt get any more care than anyone else there but it felt like it. I was taken care of very well by everyone from the nurses to the cleaning people. Maintenance was there whenever I had a problem. I was taken to my appointments on time, everytime. Phil checked on me every day. I was notified of meal time and early on, taken down to eat. The food was excellent and always plenty of it. I watch as they took care of several people who had special request for meals and did so politely. The PT and OT staff was very good. They got me going in the right direction and seeing them work with people with special problems made me feel good. I have to be honest. 10 years ago I would not have recommended this facility to anyone but now I tell everyone I see about it and would recommend it to anyone, no matter the level of care you need.
