My mother has been a resident at The Cottages in Boise for 2 years, and I have been very happy with the personal care she has been given. The staff are always friendly and understanding, and they make an effort for all the residences to feel connected as part of an extended family. I really like that they have regular scheduled activities, and they go on outings multiple times every week. I am so happy to have found The Cottages for my mom!

My Mother has been staying at the Cottages of Boise for the past 5 months. This is our first experience with assisted living facilities and can honestly say we are pleased with everything facit of the facility. Staff is extremely responsive to all of my Mothers needs. I feel a great deal of trust with the staff that makes my peace of mind much easier to come by. The Manager, Nicole is so quick to respond to all requests that I am constantly amazed at her ability to do so. The facility is very clean, bright and homey. My Mothers room meets all of her needs from every aspect. My Mother has experienced some medical needs and Nicole was very responsive and took a personal interest that I really didn't expect. I am out of state and must rely on the Cottages to take care of the majority of my Mothers needs. Even though this is not an ideal situation the staff of the Cottages makes my role much easier. I talk with my Mother everyday and get detailed updates of her activities and she is busier than anytime in recent years. I would highly recommend The Cottages to any family needing a caring, safe and professionally managed home for loved ones.

The Cottages has been a godsend. I was referred to the Cottages when I was searching for a place for my early onset dementia brother and I could not be more pleased with the way they treat their residents and how well the facility is maintained and kept clean. I feared the worst going in and have gotten the best. My brother has thrived here. The staff are well trained and treat residents with great respect and patience. This clearly starts at the top with Nicole, their amazing director. Simply the best in every way!

My mother has been living there for two years now. The Director and staff helped her transition and helped US (her kids) accept that it was time for her to give up her independent living; so while she has wonderful people caring for her, she still maintains a level of independence. Our mother has friends, plays bingo, paints (beautifully!), goes on outings to stores, gardens, parks, the pumpkin patch and even baseball games! One of her caretakers even planned a special event at the Boise Hawks to celebrate our mother's birthday: she got to throw out the first pitch AND then the team sang Happy Birthday to her! The Director and staff at The Cottages of Boise have taken away our stress and worry. As a daughter who lives out of state and manages my mother's medical needs, the director and staff have answered my questions in a timely manner; they've contacted me immediately with any concerns that I may need to address; and, they share photos of mom, so I can see the beautiful moments of her life, too. The staff also helps mom remember the important life events such as birthdays and anniversaries. They help her call us, which means a lot to her and to us, especially her sons who insist mom is just as sharp as ever!. My siblings and I have every confidence and assurance that our mother is in the best of hands. Thank you!!!

My mother stayed at The Cottages in Boise after her husband died, and the staff could not have done more to make her feel welcome, safe, and cared for. Nicole, the director, bent over backwards to accommodate my mother's needs. Karena, the activities coordinator, spent extra one on one time with my mom to help her acclimate. The entire staff watched over her, and even spent their own time moving her belongings. I can't say enough good things about The Cottages. Your loved one will be treated like family.
