My mother was placed there for rehab. The facility was beautiful and immaculate. The patient rooms were large, bright and airy. My one complaint was that some of the aides were rough and inconsiderate. I observed them putting my mother into the shower and turning the water on without warming it. The cold water hit my 92 year old mother making her cry out from the shock. They also bruised her already bruised legs by very roughly rubbing lotion into her already fragile skin. I asked them to please be gentle as her legs were very painful because of poor circulation. As a result she had more bruising on her legs. I didn't have a chance to lodge a complaint as she was moved to the hospital and then to Hospice shortly after. The facility, therapy staff and food was excellent but certain staff appeared to be inconsiderate and impatient with an already fragile patient.
