The staff orientation was professional and thorough, and the residents have been incredibly engaging, interesting, and welcoming. We couldn't be happier with our decision”especially since we no longer have to manage mundane chores like: - Grocery shopping, meal preparation, cooking, and cleanup - Yard work, including trimming, watering, weeding, and planting - Managing vendors, handling minor home repairs, and organizing.

I called today just for some general information about moorings park, what they offer and more (I am a college student doing some research for a small project). I talked to three ladies, they were unable to answer my questions. The last lady was a little helpful but the overall experience was rude and mainly unhelpful.

My mother was placed there for rehab. The facility was beautiful and immaculate. The patient rooms were large, bright and airy. My one complaint was that some of the aides were rough and inconsiderate. I observed them putting my mother into the shower and turning the water on without warming it. The cold water hit my 92 year old mother making her cry out from the shock. They also bruised her already bruised legs by very roughly rubbing lotion into her already fragile skin. I asked them to please be gentle as her legs were very painful because of poor circulation. As a result she had more bruising on her legs. I didn't have a chance to lodge a complaint as she was moved to the hospital and then to Hospice shortly after. The facility, therapy staff and food was excellent but certain staff appeared to be inconsiderate and impatient with an already fragile patient.

I had the opportunity to spend a long weekend with some wonderful friends in Moorings Park recently. This is the most beautiful retirement community in terms of availability of getting around, landscaping is impeccable, people are welcoming and very friendly. So much activities to choose from. It's a little bit of heaven on earth in Naples Florida. Loved every day of being there.

Sidewalks are covered with a rubber substance so that you don't have your knees pounding on cement and if you were to fall it would be a better fault
