Sandpiper is a great fit for my Mom. She is quite content here. She loves the food and care she receives. While she does not join in on the many scheduled activities, she does enjoy the interaction with the staff and residents. Many thanks!

We had placed my grandma here for skilled rehab in hopes to transition to LTC once her skilled stay was complete. She had the best care here during her skilled stay. Shainna was the best nurse with the communication, bed side manner, and overall care my grandma received. She was definitely my grandmas favorite. There were a number of great CNAs on 1st and 2nd shift along with nurses that shouldn't go unrecognized either. Sadly she did end up passing away but Shainna continued to call and check up to see how my grandma was doing during her hospital stay. The facility was very clean and I saw no issues. I would continue to recommend this facility.

I would love to give Dimond words of how much we her. The very first day we came into Sandpiper, my mother hadn't had a shower from the hospital, and she took mom right away and showerd her. She has cared for my mom since day one.

I had a great experience with my stay at sandpiper rehab. All the people there were great with my care and how I was treated, I became close to several of them and theres one I'm really gonna miss her care of me and that's Duamond. She made me laugh daily and sang to me. Thank you all I will miss you

I strongly recommend sandpiper for anyone looking for short term ,long term, respite care or dementia care. The staff is very friendly and work as a team to take the best care of the residents. I have worked for this company a little over 2 Years and love it. We welcome everyone with open arms.

Everybody has been really friendly. Nolan has been amazing at taking care of me. All the nurses and CNA's are outstanding! I haven't had a problem with anyone here!

I'm not one to write reviews but outstanding service deserves to be recognized. I have a relative fairly new at sandpiper. My wife and I spent quite a few hours there Fri night and again last night and although you hear horror stories about the graveyard crew, Erin the nurse is absolutely amazing! The patients there are constantly calling for her and she is constantly on the move but never appears even the slightest bit flustered and she's so good to the patients. Even though she was busy doing a dozen different things, she had the courtesy to ask us if there was anything we needed such as a drink or a chair. I was blown away by her completely. It's so nice to know that my aunt is receiving such exceptional care. I asked her what days she works so I know I don't have to worry and her response was "You can expect the same quality service from every staff member we have." I asked her how sandpiper manages to be so far above the other nursing homes and she said "management. We have exceptional management who truly care and won't except anything less than the best care for each of our residents." I hope she's right but to be honest, I can't imagine another nurse holding a candle to Erin. She's hard working, caring, I could go on all night. Thank you sandpiper for taking the worry from me. I know we are in good hands. No better feeling.

We just had my father-in-law discharged from Sandpiper to home because we saw no positive progression in his health and the communication and coordination of care was extremely lacking. Between my husband and me, we logged multiple hours at his bedside each day and yet rarely knew what was happening in regards to his plan of care and therapy goals. While the staff are kind and the private room is nice and food is good, the purpose was for him to be somewhere with access to consistent therapy to get strong enough to come home. Instead what he received was good but bare minimum care which we can provide in our home where he is more comfortable. I have been an actively working bedside nurse for nearly 20 years and was extremely disappointed that a place I chose did such a poor job meeting his needs. Unless you or your family just need mild supervision while completing therapy that you are self motivated and able to direct yourself, I would not recommend this facility. Unfortunately, my 86 year old father-in-law who has significant short term memory issues and required much encouragement, structure and assistance to get adequate therapy did not receive that here. And despite multiple requests for staff and administration to keep us in the loop, real communication never happened.

Sandpiper was my home away from home after my dad had a stroke. I spent many hours there and always felt like part of the family. I will be forever grateful to all of you who provided such great care with compassion to my dad's situation. I was able to rest easy when I was gone knowing he was in good hands. I miss you all and appreciate you!
