I’ve unfortunately had to visit a fair share of post acute and long term care facilities and this facility was very CLEAN! The staff was smiling and pleasant and after speaking to the residents they all said the same thing, they enjoy the staff/ nurses/ and care team that attend to them. They even remarked that the food was really good. The check in process was easy they even have a digital system that prints a visitor badge for you to wear. Overall this was an excellent facility.

I’m always welcomed with warm smiles from the nurses, staff, and the happy residents receiving care here. I went to Brighton Place to visit a good friend. I was pleasantly surprised, the facility was clean, the staff was very nice and professional. I've been to other facilities that were awful. Brighton Place is very nice.

I am grateful, once I found out how to enter Brighton. I found it too be a very secure facility. I said to myself. My love one is safe and secured. Also, the residents and the staff were very friendly. The place was very clean with a nice dining area, which doubles as a community recreation center. I recommend this place for families looking for a comfortable residential depended housing facility.

My father in law had not looked this good in a long time. He was at a facility in La Jolla before Brighton and what a difference! He looks so much healthier and happy! This is not a joke and they’re not paying or anything weird. Just an honest to god quick review of this place that really impressed me. I’ll be there tomorrow to tag along for his transport to a doctor’s appointment since he’s a fall risk and usually wheelchair bound. Thank you guys again!

My brother has been at this nursing facility since June of last year. This was after another facility prematurely discharged him. The facility change was hard on my brother as he also has autism and aversion to change. But once he got settled in, Brighton eventually made him appreciate the difference. I have to give five stars because the staff taking care of my brother have been so good to him. I'm particularly I must highlight the wound care nurse and specialist Loreen Lankford and CNA Cota Dian. Both are extremely attentive, engaged with my brother's daily care. Loreen has been instrumental in caring for my brother as a whole person, not just a resident. I know that working with residents, especially with neurodivergent minds and mental illness (depression) can make care the right balance of care difficult to pinpoint. But Loreen never gives up and I can honestly say that my brother trusts her which is simply HUGE for him. Something I once believed was impossible. On the CNA side, Cota similarly "gets" him. She is gentle and consistent with my brother. Always thinking about how any experience will impact not only his physical health conditions, but his mental well-being too, and ensuring she cares for him with respect. Recently my brother moved rooms again after an unexpected hospital stay and the newer to us CNA Maximo has been assigned to him. He takes such excellent care of my brother. Quickly gaining my and my brother's trust with his attentive and in tune he has been so far. I appreciate the care staff on the floor overall for being here for not only my brother but me as well. We wouldn't both still be here without them.

By far the nicest place in seniors caring that I have experienced; not told by the crew, but by the residents, those guys and ladies with a lovely smile that wave their hands to welcome you or say "good bye, see you soon" even when they don't know you. Glad to see places like this.

Can’t express enough how grateful I am with my mother’s recovery thanks to the amazing professional nursing staff and wound care team. Staff took care of my mom’s wounds from her recent amputation and had a rapid recovery. Not to mention the rehab team was amazing assisting her to learn to walk again. My mom is very happy to be back home but would definitely consider Brighton Place San Diego if my mom was to need a nursing facility in the future.

Would recommend this place to anyone that needs physical therapy. My mom came in without being about to walk or eat. 2 months later she was good as new. Walking or her own and eating all her favorite foods. The staff was amazing I couldn't thank them all enough for all the help they did.
