I want to thank the staff for addressing my concerns and at this time they have taken all necessary means to correct my issues for a clean and healthy environment. My father was released from hospital to this place. Twice we have found him without feeding tube & liquids hooked up. Also found him naked, soiled with pee & carpet soiled with pee. The pee on carpet stayed all weekend because they said no one works on weekend for cleaning!?!?? Stunk bad!! Basically you pay them & you do the work if you want it done. This place is without concern for your loved one. Don't risk your loved one to this place. I believe they are without mercy!

God is good! After a bad experience at another nursing home , God led us to this one. Mom is so happy again. The staff is shorthanded at times but I have to admit, I have yet to find mom disheveled or have dirty pull up. What a big difference. I thank my Lord for helping us find this place. I would highly recommend this place. There are some bad places out there ya'll. These people care for the residents. The only time I have felt a little frustrated is when staff is out sick, they contract the job out so the nurse on the floor could be her first time in the facility. I understand people get sick but I suppose that's better then not having anyone cover. All in all , I give it a 5 star. Thank you Windcrest for the compassion you show my mom.

today I like to say God is good! because 3wks ago I came here as a stroke patient not able to walk! an the physical therapy team has worked a miracle I can say this team has what it take to get the job done. I'm very grateful for the team effort it took to get me back walking again they know just what it takes. I recommend them to anyone looking to make a difference in your rehabilitation

My husband was admitted in the hospital on 1-13-23 until transferred to W in Marchindcrest Nursing & Rehab until April. He went in thinking he was not ever going to get better. The staff there are great. They listen to family of concerns and help family deal with the treatments and showing what they need to do to further progress to reach end goals. They even assist you step by step with Financials with insurance company. My husband was finally discharged in May. I followed their instructions and finally he is now able to leave is wheelchair and sometimes uses his walker. He is beginning to drive All these things he thought he would be able to do again.THANK YOU WINDCREST NURSING & Rehab. You all are LIVING NURSING ANGELS!!!

I'll admit I was scared at first, but I'm so glad to be back in Fredericksburg. I was greeted by a crew that made me at home. I made a lot of new friends and also caught up with old friends. The girls in therapy were so helpful and kind. I will say that will help you get to where you need to be. They also have three dogs, Zina, Penny, and of course Bailey. They belong to Caroline and Crystal. I watched how they (dogs) helped people feel at ease. I would like to thank the staff for taking the time to make sure that you are taken care of. My experience at Windcrest Nursing and Rehab was very rewarding for me, this was my first visit to any facility before. I had knee replacement done on my left knee. The PT STAFF Emily, Robert, Susan and Thelma was very professional and very rewarding for me. Because when I got there I hadn't been walking but when I left I walked out with a walker amen. The Nursing staff,the CNA'S especially IDAILY and Briana. The Housekeeping staff of Ms.Margie and Ms Joy kept everything clean and smelling good day and night. Meals were great and I loved the time that they were served. I enjoyed my stay very much. I have to have my other knee replacement and I will come back. Everyone deserves a great Kudo for great service that they give daily especially when they are short of staff sometimes Amen. Thank you all very very much. See you all soon.

I wanted to say that I am soo happy that I choose this facility for my step mom. I really was upset to have to go this route but my mom has been there a month now. I can not stress how happy I am that she is now there. Not only is she showing signs of improvement, she herself tells me how nice everyone is with her. This really gives me peace of mind. The staff on that side have been amazing and Dolores (one of the head nurses) is amazing. She truly cares and she is always ready to tell how my mom's day was and gives me details of anything that she feels I need to know. They really care. The rest of the staff have kept my mom clean and bedsore free. Her room is nice and roomy. I am telling you, this facility is really one to take a look at. I want to thank all the staff there for changing my mind on the care I thought she would get, they have proven me wrong. I love it and so does my step mom. She is really thriving there and the activates are helping her too. Thanks to Everyone at Windcrest Nursing home for making her feel like family and giving her the attention she needs. I would recommend this facility for anyone who needs a safe place for their loved one My mother stayed at this nursing home for a month plus She was treated like royalty from day one Want to thank the Nursing Staff especially Dolores and Bree The CNA's Areli, Roxanne and Flo who assisted my Mom every day and take pride in their job. We wasted 20 days of what they call rehab. The food sucked and my wife still couldn't walk. In fact after II brought her home she fell twice that day. I ended up having to go to ignite rapid rehab and spend 3000 dollars to get excellent physical therapy. We also ended up losing 2 bibs, a metal straw and one of the nurses stole our Melatonin! Sam, get a job at Ignite rapid rehab, formally Bridgemoor. They don't deserve you!

Can not thank them enough for all care and attention they are giving to our mom. And the compassion they have and how they are willing to go the extra mile is heart warming. Dolares our moms nurse is a God sent. She is so wonderful to our momma. She always answers all our questions and concerns we have. As you walk in the facility you feel that positive sense of peace. Everyone is so pleasant. God bless you all for giving your best to our dear Momma.

My Mom and Dad have been at Windcrest for over 3 years. The staff is always willing to help us. They are very patient and understanding with my parents. I feel as if the staff treats them as they were their own parents. I really appreciate everyone there. I feel as if my parents are home. Many thanks to them.

We brought our 97 year old mother here after a fall which left her with four broken ribs. The care she received here was fantastic! Everyone, from the administrators to the nurses to the physical therapists gave excellent care. My mother has been in other rehab centers before and nothing compares to Windcrest. The food was excellent; the physical therapy, especially Brian, was the best we've ever experienced. I hope never to need a rehab center again, but if so, Windcrest nursing home and rehab would be my only choice.
