While looking for somewhere to put my grandmother I had the pleasure to talk to Travis who helped answer a lot of my questions and also gave me an amazing tour of the facility. I was also introduced to Emilee the DON of the facility she was very friendly and answered all my medical questions which put me at ease about a lot of my concerns.

The building has a cozy feel and a lovely enclosed garden with a two adorable rabbits. The residents interaction with water and feeding them gives some of the residents purpose , so they say. They have transportation to go on outings now that Covid no longer stifle the facility. The residents look forward. The facility has a family feel to it

I placed my wife back in July of this year (2023). When you look at care centers (and I looked at quite a few) you really never know what you're getting into. I must say, very happy with Settlers Ridge. Caring Admin Staff, and alert nursing and aid staff. I visit my wife everyday, and it feels a little like home there. I feel very accepted not only by the staff, but also by the other residents. I can honestly say that Settlers Ridge is the place for my wife to get the care she needs. Everyday when I leave her there, I know she's looked after. I'm so happy that she's there. Thank you Settlers Ridge for helping me care for my wife. God Bless!!!

Settler's Ridge has provided the best care my mom has received since getting her dementia diagnosis. My mother is in Memory Care at Settlers Ridge. My first contact was Travis who has always been available for any questions I have and provided me excellent service. Carl, responsible for any repairs or room decorations, has helped me make moms room look more like home. He is awesome! Honestly anyone I have talked to in office staff has been helpful. I feel my mom is getting good care, nursing staff is caring, the facility is clean and I really like the people she is living with. There are 2 bunnies in the court yard, everyone has a picture and name up for display and there is even a touch/activity wall. I would highly recommend this facility.

My Mom has lived at Settlersridge Memory Care for two years where it has been a good experience for her and family! I feel the employees reflect how much they care about working at Settlersridge by the way they care for their residents. Im a resident here. Amanda in the business office goes out of her way to help me with my account. Emilee the don helps me make my appointments and helps me with my orders and doctor communications. Raul the cna makes sure i am well taken care of, he is one ofthe best aides in the building. These three staff members are amazing and make my stay here a wonderful experience. My only complaint is the soda machine is over priced and not stocked correctly

I was hesitant to put my mother in a care facility but did end up choosing Settler’s Ridge. I can say now the only reason I have kept my mother there is because of Kristen the nursing director. She is truly kind and has a passion to give the BEST care. I cannot say the same for the administrator though. If this facility had improvements to make it surely would be to replace that woman. She lacks empathy and lacks the leadership skills to support her staff and residents. However, Kristen is the only reason to be a resident at Settler’s Ridge. Kristen calls me daily with updates on my mother’s status and has cared for her daily to make sure that she receives the absolute best care. Settler’s Ridge is very lucky to have Kristen and if they truly care about the residents they would dismiss their current administrator.

I am writing this review on behalf of my grandmother. Since she has arrived from another nursing home, she has been much happier with activities and daily events that take place here. We continue to be thankful for Travis the admissions department manager to help get her in here.

Thanks to Settlers Ridge, I know my sister is being well cared for medically, mentally and physically. This facility has everything from self care to memory care and everything in between. The staff truly takes an interest in each resident. Thanks to Robbie, the activities director residents are never without something they can choose to participate in.

There are very few places that I would trust as much as Settlers Ridge Care Center. This place is amazing and the staff is outstanding. One nurse that went above and beyond that we will forever be thankful for is Emily Reins. She was so polite, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this facility.

My grandmother stayed at Settlers Ridge for a little bit after a hospital visit and she really enjoyed her time at SR, she said she loved the attentiveness and customer care. Also they have bunnies in the courtyard that are neat to watch!

There is no harder task than finding the right place for your loved one. I was reluctant due to a few low reviews. So I arrived unexpected for a visit. I was fortunate enough to talk to a few family member. Leaving with my concerns and questions answered. My dad was transported to Settlers Ridge from the hospital for physical therapy. From the moment we arrived, the staff made him comfortable and the family at ease. I have to say the PT team is second to none. All administrative staff, nurses, tech, housekeeping, PT team, Kitchen team are great. They each have a concerning heart for my dad’s recovery. The only thing I see is short staffing which may be beyond their control. Also my dad’s not to fond of the food. It’s not uncommon to see administration on the floor working with the daily teams which I like to see. I would highly recommend Settlers Ridge or take the time to make a visit.

I moved my dad in January 21 during the pandemic. The staff not only showed their care, compassion, and instant knowledge towards my dad and his needs, but made me feel welcomed too. Now being able to visit him on a weekly basis I have so much more respect for all who put their heart into whatever position they serve at Settlers Ridge. My dad’s wants and medical needs have been met, along with mine. I am updated regularly of doctors visits, med changes, and even activities he is involved in. I have seen an improvement in my dad’s disposition since he was transferred from his last nursing home. The place is clean, comfortable and well ran. I cannot say enough good things about how pleased I am for making the right decision to put my dad in this skilled nursing facility! Thank you Settlers Ridge!
