4.5 stars Nurses and staff: attentive and compassionate! They treated mom with respect and excellent nursing care. They communicated with the family for every concern and goal. PT and OT: Teresa, Heidi, Ben and others helped mom build muscle tone and confidence. Activities: daily and special activities kept mom engaged and social (Prom, nail polish, music, tie dye shirts, movies, etc) Shout outs to Heather, Rebecca, Janess, Cheri, Kira, Tracy, Chris, Kevin, Carolyn, Melissa, Janette, Michael, and so many others whose names escaped me, but deserve kudos !

Carolyn the social worker was very knowledgeable and friendly upon my arrival. This facility was very inviting and clean and a great option for placement for a loved one.

My grandmother was here for a weeks hospice respite stay. The nurses was absolutely amazing and compassionate. They took the time to listen to my grandmother's worries and concerns then addressed them and gave her plenty of reassurance. The med techs took the time to explain her medication, because she focused on her meds. The CNAs treated her with compassion and gave her the time she needed. She was never rushed to get around, go to the bathroom, get dressed etc.. Her room was kept clean & any supplies she needed she receive. As far as the food, she was a very picky eater and they went above and beyond to fix what she wanted. If she wanted a grilled cheese for breakfast they fixed it. While she was only there for a week but if she would've needed to stay longer or permanently somewhere, my family and I would choose here. I would highly recommend this facility. I truly feel that they give great care and take the time to get to know the people.

The staff seems overall helpful, friendly, and compassionate. Basic covid screening are performed on visitors including a temperature check. However the facility is older and some areas are better maintained than others. The cleanliness is uneven at best - tables are often sticky, rooms routinely are in need of sweeping/mopping, and we have seen a roach crawling through hallway and another in dining area. The facility seems underfunded and lacking in some basic equipment - such as a beds with power controls residents can adjust (important if confined to bed), an available courtesy wheelchair, or call button with intercom capabilities so a resident can indicate if they have non urgent request vs a medical emergency. My biggest concern involves wound care. Wounds were left uncovered and sometimes bleeding for hours to most of the day at a time, dressing was not always changed even once a day, and packing was inconsistent even though these were large tunneling wounds. Most staff were willing to talk about concerns and offer explanations, pass on information, or follow up to some degree. Sometimes the resident had to wait simply because available staff did not have the appropriate skill level.

My Grandmother was at Golden Years for 8 months she had a fall at home and needed full time nursing care we chose Golden Years. She received the best care a family could ask for.she passed away this past week at Golden Years her end of life care was amazing she had private room and all the space we needed to be with her. I would place any loved one in the care of the staff at Golden Years. Thanks everyone there for excellent love and care of my Grandmoth

My dad has been in Golden Years for rehab and wound care. He had wonderful cares. They have outstanding knowledge of wound care and usage of a wound vacs. The nurses had great communication with me throughout his entire stay. It's a beautiful Rehab unit and would definitely recommend.
