This really has been a 5 star living experience for our mother. The caregiving, variety of activities and meals are amazing. She has found so much love and friendship over the 3+ years it has been her home. I truly believe she has lived longer and happier because she lives and thrives at Oakdale Heights.

Oakdale Heights is truly a wonderful community for my mom. Their reputation for care is outstanding and they have care staff who have been there for many years, this is rare! Their nurse works so hard and cares deeply about the residents that live there. We had many choices when looking for assisted living facilities, and while they're not newest in Redding, they provide fantastic care and their communication to family members is amazing. We love the homelike atmosphere; it is comfortable and not over-the-top extravagant like some other communities in town, so my mom feels like she can be herself, just like she would at home. My mom has her own apartment, and she says the food is fabulous and she feels comfortable and cared for and has been able to be more social than she was while living at home. We're so grateful to Oakdale Heights for all they do, so please do yourself and your loved one a favor and check out this wonderful community, you will not regret it.

Our family toured Oakdale Heights recently. Many thanks to "Kealey" who was so friendly and patiently answered all of our questions. The atmosphere was calm, residents were visiting with one another, and the facility looked very clean and tidy. While we ended up placing our family member elsewhere (due to health level), we want to share our wonderful experience at Oakdale. Check it out!

I can't say enough good things about Oakdale Heights and their staff! We were in a tough position when my father fell and realized he could no longer go home without care. Neither dad nor mom wanted to him to go into an assisted living facility but my brothers and myself live too far away to be able to care for him ourselves. The moment we met Kealey, and toured the facility we knew this was the right place for dad. It truly feels like home, so much so that my mother has moved in as well. Kealey, Janelle, Theresa, Chris, Daniel and Tony treat my parents as family versus just "residents." Everyone is accessible to answer questions and they go above and beyond to help mom and dad, knowing that this is a scary and emotional time for them. If there are concerns that we need to be made aware of as their children, Nurse Janelle always keeps us in the loop. We are now able to relax knowing mom and dad are cared for and most importantly, happy. We feel so blessed to have found Oakdale Heights!!!

Oakdale Heights is absolutely amazing! They have great care staff and residents are always so happy! I've heard nothing but good things about the management team and Kealey has been wonderful and so easy to work with! This community is gorgeous. I love the home-like atmosphere, friendly staff and welcoming residents. They all seem to have so much fun. And the location is perfect with the golf course, walking trails and riverside access right nearby. The large apartments with outdoor balconies set this place apart from all the rest for sure.

I am extremely impressed with the staff and how they make you feel like one big family. The have beautiful grounds, and activities for the residents. The food is terrific and just an overall amazing atmosphere.

This community is nestled right in the perfect part of Redding. It's quiet but close to everything, the apartments are beautifully upgraded and the prices are amazing compared to other places in the area. I like that they have a sister property that offers memory care, which would make for an easy transition should my loved one need it down the line. The most important thing though, is that the staff truly seem to care for the residents and they do their best to make them feel at home.
