Woodmark at Daytona Beach has many options for seniors. They are remodeling the property and making it a better place to live. I visited for my mom, who unfortunately was unable to visit for herself. Woodmark would be my first choice for mom if this is the route that is decided.

I thoroughly enjoyed my tour even though they weren't expecting me. Must have been a breakdown in communication. They hadn't received notification from A Place for Mom that an appointment had been set up for 10 am that morning. However they very graciously took me on a tour and were very happy to answer all my questions. The only negative comment I would have is the residents only receive one meal a day and a second one would require an extra $12. The other facilities I toured included 3 meals a day with healthy snacks and drinks available between meals.

We were so desperately needing to find a place for my wife and I to live in the Ormond Beach area to be close to our daughter and her family. Amanda was very gracious and caring and answered all of our questions a couple of times over. It was difficult leaving our prior residence that we are glad to be in a place where everybody is so friendly, especially. Amanda.

When we first came to tour The Woodmark at Daytona Beach, we met Amanda. From our first tour through our move in, Amanda, along with the administrative team were incredibly helpful, true to their word, transparent and cooperative. We felt welcomed, very much at home and comfortable. Now that we are residents at The Woodmark, the team continues to be attentive and very helpful. Quite often the first person one meets sets the tone for the experience; we are fortunate to have met Amanda to assist us with our forthcoming move. If you enjoy a quiet, comfortable, safe residence, we recommend the Woodmark. We would also add that the maintenance team is responsive and pleasant when needs arise.

I'd like to share a review that I experienced recently upon my entrance in this facility. First and foremost, when I couldn't afford to move me. Linda linda the supervisor was there along with my buddy, Brandy, the marketing sales lady needed a point to make it happen their time, Budget and staff. The staff work their bones off and placed everything in there Bus they use to transport people. It is my sincere utmost Gratitude That I thank this crew For everything they did for me. Even though linda said," This is what we do", I found Their services way Above and beyond the call of duty me for what they did For me. The only reason why I am giving This community, a 4 instead of a 5 is the lack of communication that I have received or not received in regards to the services says that I expected to have upon arrival here. The biggest one being transportation, which was the biggest reason why I moved over from their sister company which did not have transportation offered. When I called today to ask to learn of the process for a ride to get groceries, I was told that the person was not available for another week and there was no backup. I was also not privy to a lot of other incidentals of which I will leave out at this time as they are important but, irrelevant to this Review. But the main thing is the lack of communicatiand that is not forth coming with all. That should be said in advance. Yes, I could of asked the questions as well. But if you don't know some of the questions to ask, then how do you know what to ask. You rely on the institution to give you as much information as possible, especially as you arrive. Nevertheless, I find the staff here incredibly kind. And they will go out of their way to find a solution for what your needs. Are At that moment. I'm not saying all of the staff does this but most of them do. And that's what counts because no place is perfect no matter where you go. Thank you again to everybody who assisted me in this move. I also want to give a big shout out to my floor and my new neighbors Rose and Kathy. For without them I could not have made my first week. The other reasons why I feel mostly at home here. Because they had made me feel at home. Thank you neighbors you are going to be forever my "besty" friends. With all the adjustments that I've had to comply with to include downsizing from my home to an apartment, these 2 girls have done their best to accommodate each and every. Tear that I've had to endure in the process. As anybody knows who goes through this process, it is not an easy one but we'll get through it somehow and yet on the other side. I look forward to getting on the other side perhaps after the holidays.

Ashley was AWESOME .She helped me so much to find the prefect apartment for my mom Cheryl that moved from Tampa .She is very knowledgeable in the process and it was a very pleasant non stressful transaction .She even came in on her day off to help me on move in day for my mom's last minute details that only my mom could provide on that day . The best part is my mom is so happy at 79 and Ashley helped me find her the prefect new home.

The amount of care and compassion that Ashley has shown us has been beyond words. During a very difficult situation with our mother, the answers, ideas, advice that she gives is amazing. You can also see that it comes so naturally to her and that she truly loves helping the families and what she does in her role.

If u like run down property,, pot holes , torn down fences, poor security and so much more to look.forward to...this is your place. SAD of course the company that purchased this property is from California...and they do not like Florida...makes sense. However the staff that work here are fabulous...shame they aren't given better support .

Gwen was awesome, she told us all there is to know about bishops glen! Even though they won't be moving for another year or so , Gwen did an amazing job of securing my parents to move in . they loved her vibe & will be moving there in the future when they are ready for retirement. She was very knowledgeable & pleasant to talk to! Thanks Gwen! Honestly.... it seemed as though Gwen was one of the only pleasant staff there. The management seems rude— especially the lady with the purple hair.

Gwen was great! she showed us the beautiful community & made us feel at home! the residents are very inviting & closeknit. i will consider bishops glen at the top of my list when im ready for retirement. i hope Gwen will still be there as she was the best part of the property!

Gwen was amazing, I went to tour it for my grandmother & she will be moving into bishops Glen in about a year or so. She was hesitant to go into a retirement community but Gwen assured me it's not too far off from any normal apartment community with the benefits of great inviting residents , meals & all bills included!

I would like to give a shout out to our sales representative Gwyn Henry who has given us 2 great tours and spent over 3 hours with us answering questions about the facility. We went looking for a place for my 88-year-old Mom and we really like the size of the apartments there compared with other places in the area. Gwyn was VERY patient with us (we asked a lot of questions ) and showed us several apartments twice on 2 separate days so we could get a good feel for the place. She also provided my mom with a wheelchair so we could cover the tour a little easier. We also appreciated that she consulted with the kitchen chef and the front desk staff to get answers for us to questions when she wasn't sure of the answers. Gwyn is also very personable, we enjoyed conversing with her, and we never felt rushed at all.
