Reviews Greenbriar at the Altamont
June 2024
Beautiful building but half of the staff are rude and lazy putting their job off on other staff members
February 2024
My mother was in the rehab unit here, and I cannot say enough good things. The facility is very clean and doesn't have the "smell" one often encounters at other facilities. Her room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the neighborhood. Overall, the staff were caring and patient. I often saw the residents hanging out near the nursing stations and the 2nd floor reception desk chatting with the staff, who seemed to generally enjoy interacting with them. They seem to be very proactive about getting residents out of bed. Most importantly, my mother made tremendous progress with her rehab goals.

Three or four years ago, I found Greenbriar as an attractive, clean and convenient place for a relative to live. Now that we have had experience with them, I find the staff and administration to be very accommodating and willing to work through any issues encountered. (The issues are generally with the resident and not with the facility.) I would recommend this highly for the independent living areas. I have not had experience in other areas.
