I am very appreciative of the care my parents have received at SummerHouse. They enjoy the activities. Everyone is so accommodating. The entire staff has been phenomenal. I also feel better knowing there is a nurse there 24 hours a day.

My mother was at Summit for 7 months. We had a good experience. She was always taken care of. We visited daily never knew when we were coming she was always clean and taken care of Good experience with staff. They always had things going on for patients

My mother was here and the care she received was astonishing. We are so grateful for this facility and their care for their residents. We were so thankful for this facility in my mother’s final days.

(Update 2024) Huge improvement over the last year! Communication on my loved one is better, & the overall atmosphere & service. A family member has been here 4 yrs. At first, things were ok, but then a huge change in staff & director. My parent's funds were mishandled, & it took a dozen phone calls or more, several staff members who need training, & 9+ weeks to correct! Only 1 staff member admitted the mistake & helped correct the problem. The funds stayed in nursing homes account for 2 months bc of incompetence! The director is either late coming in, on break, or running errands & difficult to reach & instead of helping the situation, gives excuses & argues with you. CNA's are hiding in residents' rooms on phones, while your family member is soaked in urine. If you bring any gifts, snacks, clothes, etc. be prepared, they will go missing! There are a FEW good employees here, but it starts at the top! If you complain, be prepared for retaliation to your family member. The phones ring off the wall! Visit, ask ?s, investigate before admitting. Today, just days after complaining, my Mom's face is bruised and swollen! No call, report, or explanation given. No one knows what happened! I've called all week & have yet To receive a call back. Unacceptable!

My mother is here for rehab. She is getting stronger . I see it in her. Her roommate is wonderful. I'm glad she's seems happy there but I am already impatient for her to be back home. Keep up the good work. Get my mom up and walking again so can come home.

I was so impressed with Lauren at admissions ! She patiently conversed with me and offered some helpful information ! A young girl first of all helped me check in! It’s hard to teach an old dog new tricks !

Before I even enter the building a very nice worker walked up to me, she ask if she could help me so she perceived to help me out. After we entered the building and she stayed right with me, she showed me what to do. She made sure I went to the right person to help me find my family members who resides there. I wished that I had knew her name, since she was so amazing when it came to helping me. I found my family members and had a very wonderful visit. I would like to thank that special young lady who went out of her way just to make sure I made it to visit my family members. She will know who I am talking about. My experience at Summit to visit myAunt was not what I expected! It was clean, no odor, the staff from the lady at the front door to the Maintenance Supervisor, her Nurse and Attendants left me with a very positive experience. She was checked on several times while i was there. It was comforting to know she is in the best of care. She also would have let me known if there were any issues. I can sleep at night. Thank you Summit Staff!

Visited Summit Nursing Home to assess for admitting my mother. The facility is beautiful, very safe with a gated entry, and personnel are welcoming. Viewed many of the patients in the dining area and everyone looked well cared for. The resident rooms had adequate space and individual showers. Staff assistance was available for residents who needed it as well as a bath area. I was impressed with the quality of the facility and plan to take my mother for a tour soon.

It is such a wonderful feeling to have had my mom in such an amazing and caring place! The staff was so comforting to her during her rehabilitation. The therapy department is absolutely the BEST! My Dad was very happy here. Esp when he was blessed to get on the memory care hall. Those ladies grew very attached to him and cared for him as if he was their father and grandfather.
