Not particularly fond of any type of hospital for the main reason everyone seems unhappy. Both workers and staff appearing unapproachable. Well my 90 year old father was there for couple of weeks, giving staff a hard time and thinking to myself this is how one gets treated poorly or forgotten. Its going to be a nightmare. Then the evening nurse comes in with a huge smile and awesome personality . Clearly you can tell she likes her job and likes helping people. My fathers stay was transformed from not wanting to be there to not so bad being there. Just have to say thank you Jessica. Our family appreciated the awesome care of our father and making him enjoy his time when you were there. I hope the facility knows the impact you bring being part of there team. 80% of the good reviews come from 20 % of the staff. Your awesome.

Thank you Deann Westbrook DON for bringing so much joy to the patients their families and staff. When I visit with my mom your leadership shines through in the staff. The nurses must really enjoy working for you. They are always smiling and willing to help Big Thank You to each one. The patients are so clean well groomed and the building is alive with joy and activity. The facility does not stink it smells great. Shout out to the cleaning crew! I work at this place. I thoroughly enjoy it here. Sadly, I have worked in many long term care facilities. But this place is by far the best long term care place I have been employed at. All residents that require assistance eating meals are in the dining room for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. How amazing! Every staff member participates in all 3 meals as in passing trays in the dining room and on the halls and equally assisting residents with the help of eating. The administrator, Christian Fulkerson, is the icing, but - Deann Westbrook the Director of Nursing is the cake! She has the most authentic personality, and is the backbone to the nursing staff. Her leadership is the type of quality every DON in facilities like this should lead with, but from my own experience this is not always the case. The staff is so fun! © Aqua!

I did my nursing clinicals at this location, and it couldnt have been better. It was clean, didnt reek of urine or poop like a lot of care homes do, and the staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The DON Deann was execeptionally knowledgable and helpful, always willing to answer any questions myself or my classmates had. Brayden, Tanner, and the ADON Brittany made sure we all left with a far greater understanding of the field than we started with, and we couldnt have asked for a better nursing staff to help guide us in such an early formative period. Top notch staff, happy residents, and a clean facility; there's really not much more you can ask for!

Gainesville Renaissance Care Center is an outstanding facility. The nursing staff is truly amazing”caring, attentive, and always going above and beyond for the residents. The administrative team is exceptional as well. Jessica, Tonya, and Christian consistently create a positive, welcoming atmosphere and support excellent communication with families and partners. Their working relationship with Angel Hands Hospice is also excellent. The teamwork and professionalism between both organizations make a real difference in the quality of care. I want to say how wonderful Renaissance Care is. From the moment I walked into the facility there was no smell which is a big deal. The staff were very helpful and the nursing team was smiling and asking how they could help. I got the pleasure of meeting with the Director of Nursing Deann Westbrook. I had visited several facilities and for a DON to take the time to speak with a family member says a lot about how she really truly cares for the patients and their families. What a blessing she is and I know because of her leadership the Staff were so kind and loving. The patients clean well groomed and smiling. There was so much going on with activities I knew we had made the right decision. They truly care for your loved one. The leadership team of Christian Fulkerson and Deann Westbrook are the best choice this company has made. I can now say what incredible care your loved one will receive. My mother was here two times for physical rehab after ortho surgery. I couldn’t be more pleased with the care she received. There is a new administrative team to include executive director and director of nurses. They are top notch and ensure care is delivered in the highest manner. I would highly recommend this for your rehab and long term care needs.

Tanner Silmon has been one of her nurses and he has been excellent. He is patient, kind, caring and has great bedside manner. He is so gentle with my grandmother and we really appreciate his hospitality. She’s had multiple other CNA’s Including Jackie, Anayla, Kylee and Jessica that I can’t remember who were wonderful as well!

The staff is amazing. I visit my wife every day and always see people going out of their way to take care of folks. I've noticed the residents all get along and it's a calm atmosphere. My wife says that the food is very good too.

The facility was very clean and orderly. The staff was professional for the most part. As in every business, staffing and personnel issues do exist. But we had few problems. My mom loved the food. She was there for two weeks for therapy. The therapy was not excellent. PT consisted of a walk down the hall. OC was limited. She also had speech therapy occasionally. We were not impressed with the therapy she received. I gave them 4 stars. If the therapy would pick their game, I could rate them higher. The admin personnel were excellent. They are very knowledgeable and they operate the facility in a professional manner.

My husband was at this facility. It is a beautiful home with the most awesome nurses. Rooms are large with a sink and small fridge. Large bathrooms with walk in or roll in showers..There was a round table with 2 chairs so that I could have occasional meals with him. There was a very nice electric bed and cable TV in each room. Very nice place.

We toured this nursing home when looking for a place for my uncle who is looking to transfer to be closer to us. Location was awesome. They are a newer facility. The admissions coordinator was very helpful. Unfortunately they did not accept my family member because they don't take MR (mental retardation) patients even though he is elderly with no behavior issues, which I am learning is a common issue with these places. The residents seemed happy and the place was clean.

I was also there. Personally witnessed all of ur complaints about ur mother. I also went without showers and I complained to the supervisors and administrators n nothing changed. They were n still r in their chair all night n day,n taken to dining room n left there to eat totally forgot about, n pushed out without touching their food. N the nurses see their plates and r not even offering them a bite.. witnessed by a patient there who is me.Vickie Barton. There is alot more to my storie,I was there for month n 1/2 till i was moved tyvm. Warning that if u have someone there. daily visit r my suggestion, n some meal times if possible..

My mother was a resident at Renaissance care Center for 4 months. The care that the staff showed her was absolutely the best. The facility is very clean and the staff is excellent down to every department. The food was so good, I would eat with my mom from time to time and it tasted like good ole home cooking. They care for their residents and treat them like they are family. I would recommend this facility to any one. Renaissance Care Center is 5 stars and above in my eyes
