Reviews Wesley Place on Honeysuckle
June 2024
Horrible place. Room was always dirty, her things was stolen and nothing done about it. Some good aides, some lazy. My friend hated it. Begged me to get her out but by time I was looking for another place, her health was going down fast. She passed in this place and I hate it. I was suppose to be called when she got worse but wasn't until after she passed. She died alone cause Noone called me, in a place she hated. Nothing was done about her things taken from her. This place needs to be investigated by the state.

Words cannot properly express how grateful we are for Wesley Place. The loving care they gave my mother-in-law was amazing. From the front desk to the office, everyone was always so kind. I can tell when nurses love their job, and it was evident they do. We will always be thankful for this place.

Strongly disliked the experience at this [establishment].

At this time an isolated incident...to be hung up on without a decent closing by "security" on duty. An encounter that has me slightly bothered considering the situation may have been different. I will say that it was very unprofessional.

Wonderful meals, except when Penney was off, understand she needs days off, sure was glad to see her when she was back. Nursing staff cared with compassion and listened to my cares and problems. CNA's were for the most part very good especially Mercedes, even with being very pregnant. she always took care of my needs keeping me safe and making sure, she had met my needs, before leaving my room. The travel CNA's were especially good, especially Jones, I loved her bright smile and her bubbly personality, always made me good and she always took care of my needs and was very happy to do so. I could tell something special about each person that was involved with my care. PT was good as well as OT.My experience at Wesley was a good one and I would recommend Wesley Place to anyone and if I needed rehab again, it would be my first choice. Thanks to everyone that had a part in my recovery, wonderful staff, wonderful place for rehab!

I cant say enough about the staff and the facilities at Wesley Place. My father suffered a devastating stroke and needs round the clock care. The staff has been extremely caring and has helped him tremendously to get settled. Holly, the admissions coordinator went way out of her way to help get my father get admitted there at Wesley Place. I highly recommend Wesley Place.

My 91 year old father was a resident at Wesley Place (WP) and I highly recommend them for you or your family members. WP has multiple levels of care from Assisted Living to Nursing Home. My father was there during the peak of the COVID virus. That was a difficult time and stressful time for the Residents and Staff. My father spent time in the Assisted Living and Nursing Home areas. The facility is very nice and well maintained. The best thing about WP to me was the Staff. From the Administration down to the lowest level they were so friendly, loving, caring, and professional. I would not hesitate to go there our take a family member there.

My Mother has received excellent care in Assisted Living and is now in Full Time Care after a time in Rehab. We simply could not do without Holly Whitehead who has been an amazing support and friend throughout this time. Monica Roland has also been a huge lifesaver in negotiating the process of making everything work out to make this the best possible home for Mother. We are so very thankful for Wesley Place.
June 2019
My dad just finished 100 days at Wesley Place Rehab Inn after having a stroke July 16. The staff at Wesley Place were amazing. Compassionate, caring, kind, professional. Everyone approached my dads situation with knowledge, understanding and encouragement. The PT staff were so supportive and the CNA staff kept dad smiling and feeling cared for. They even allowed my mom to stay with dad when no one in the family could stay with her at their home. I'd highly recommend Wesley Place if you or your loved one need rehabilitation. Thank you Diane, Dani, Sade, Reba, Muhogany, Teresa, Shayne, Lusondra, Julisa...I'm sure I'm missing some but everyone played such a big part in dads recovery. The past two days he's done some firsts. Walked through their house with a walker, Fixed dinner for us (something I think brought him pride since that's what he's always loved to do), today he gave himself a shower in their walk in tub, and he tied his own shoes. 105 days ago he could do any of this and thanks to Wesley Place he is doing these things. We are enternally grateful!

I visited Wesley on Honeysuckle with my mother, and we were both impressed. Mom will soon no longer be able to live alone but is having a hard time accepting to move out of her house. I look her to see Wesley after taking a tour of it myself. The staff was very attentive to Mom, talking directly to her and listening patiently to her concerns. She asked to return the following day to meet some of the residents; again we were warmly welcomed by all, and one of the ladies gladly let us visit her room. It is a place where I would choose to stay myself. And the winning card for Mom is that she can bring her cat.

Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for attentive and family-like care. My mom loves it!!

Holly Whitehead has been great to work with. In every situation that has come up, she has been on it. The most awesome thing is how she treats our 99 year old mother like she was hers! She makes a daily effort to check in on her well being and keeps us informed regarding her needs. The whole staff here, from the Nurses to the Dinning Room personnel, all help my mother everyday. They all make her feel so special!
March 2018
Such a warm environment; felt like we were home. It was obvious that this was a great place to live, as the residents were so happy.
March 2018
Following a debilitating back injury my mom was in the hospital for 3 weeks then released for rehab. We chose Wesley Place on Honeysuckle partly because of the brand new renovations (we were there around 1/17) but mostly because of the reputation of the staff and the family-type environment they foster. I have no doubt that caring for someone else's family member--especially when they are at their worst physically and mentally--is a very trying task. Dani and her team provided a level of care that made all of us feel comfortable leaving Mom with them while we got much needed rest. Mom got a UTI while at the hospital and was, at times, completely loopy, often calling me in the middle of the night with crazy requests. The team was able to comfort her and assure me that she was receiving the attention she needed. The only thing I didn't like during our encounter was that it was sometimes difficult to get someone in the Rehab building on the phone--especially after hours. A nurse from the nursing home side had to transfer the call which was hit and miss. They may have resolved this issue but at the time the building had just opened so they were still working things out. Overall a great experience and we would use them again if the need arose.
